Wisconsin Shooting.

Today at the Olympics TeamGB won their first basketball match since 1948. Well I say 'won' it was more of a case of the Chinese side not really bothering and just handing Britain the victory. This is all about the time at night which events at the 2012 Olympics end. The British hosts have been trying to push the end time back as far as possible claiming that it's an effort to make some events available for prime-time TV in the USA. Everyone else from continental Europe all the way back to the international date line think it's an effort to stress them out by forcing them to stay up way past their bed time.

Within this environment I am strictly limited about what I can publish on the Internet for everyone to read about yesterday's (5 /8/12) Wisconsin shooting. However I think it is fair to say that the conflict in Syria has reached that point where lots of people across the globe are desperate to know if the USA will be continuing with it's ridiculous sanctions or whether they will allow the result to stand. The US intelligence community carried out yesterday's shooting in order to blind their Commander-in-Chief (the President) in the middle of this debate so they could railroad him into following their orders. Also another mass shooting puts pressure on the Democratic Party to make gun-control a plank of their 2012 election campaign. Along with the issue of gay marriage this will re-open the so called culture wars that have dominated US politics since the 1970's and would be tantamount to the Democratic Party and Barack Obama simply pulling out of the 2012 election because these are simply the wrong things to do. Take gay marriage as an example. I'm speaking as someone for whom equal legal rights for gay couples such the right to be considered a next of kin in health care is not so much an ideological aspiration as a practical part of everyday life. However even I understand that marriage is a religious rite and many religions are opposed to homosexual relationships so by attempting to force through gay marriage the Democrats are trying to violate the rights of many everyday Americans and if they continue they will rightfully be punished for it at the polls. Now if they were campaigning for equal civil rights for gay couples that would be a different question.

In a sort of follow up to this today a US judo player was expelled from the Olympics after testing positive for cannabis which he claimed he'd eaten. This was actually the US intelligence community trying to cozy up to Iran's youth. You see in Iran alcohol is banned in much the same way that cannabis is banned in the UK i.e the ban makes little difference. So if young Iranians want to get drunk they will use a euphemism like say "pizza." So the USA judo player's expulsion was the US trying to re-assure the Iranian youth about what I might of meant in my "Two Pizza's" post last night although I was just talking about pizza. Continuing of the Iran theme US authorities have accused Britain's Standard & Chartered Bank of helping avoid sanctions on Iran. This seems like a little suggestion to the Iranian youth that once the sanctions really start to bite the CIA will be on hand to re-start the 'Green Revolution.' Mind you the fact the people who are demanding the USA take tougher action and put in place tougher sanctions against Iran are the same people who are quite happily breaking the sanctions on Iran might lead to the Americans realising that they're having the p*ss taken out of them.
