Yep They're That Dark.

Within moments of me making my last post police in New Addington, Croydon announced that they'd discovered a body in the house of the grandmother of missing school girl Tia Sharp and they are seeking the grandmother's boyfriend Stuart Hazel in connection with what the police are treating as a murder investigation. Of course as part of that investigation the police had Stuart Hazel in custody for questioning yesterday (10/8/12) but seem to have let him go in order to allow him to escape.

The timing of the announcement is obviously to create paranoia amongst out Olympic visitors and promote discussion about how far Britain is prepared to go to achieve it's aims with specific reference to the allegation that the deliberately got my grandmother addicted to an opiate and are trying to do the same with me. Of course the question everyone else will be asking is whether the preliminary search of the grandmother's property yesterday was simply a cover to allow the body to be smuggled into the property.

Edited again at around 20:40 on 10/8/12 to add:

The police have now arrested Stuart Hazell Tia Sharp's grandmother's boyfriend. Apparently at around 20:25 local (19:25 GMT) he was arrested in a public place in the Merton area after being identified by a member of the public. The news broke at around 21:15 local (20:15 GMT).

16:25 on 10/8/12.

of course nothing opens up a community like putting them in a stressful and unusual situation while flooding the area with police and media while organising search parties and giving everyone only one topic of conversation. really it's just the olympic cauldron debate in microcosim. apart from a recent influx of tamed irish travellers the long term objective of hitting this specific community seems to be to turn people off the state and it's handouts. with fewer hands out there will be fewer people to notice when central government funding to croydon gets cut dramatically.
