Ok that's probably not the most tactful greeting for the para-Olympics. However after basically spending yesterday with my foot in a bucket of ice the pain has significantly reduced and I've regained enough joint mobility that I might do something crazy like walking up to the corner-shop to buy a newspaper now that I've clearly caught up on all the sleep I lost.
