Did You Forget the Tsarneav Brothers Were Muslims?!

Because if you did that was very careless.

You see for the aftermath of the Boston marathon bombings the UK had very carefully prepared a series of trials of homegrown Muslim terrorists. Honestly there have been such a long series of these over the last two weeks I can't actually remember each individual one. However I think there was one about a group of - idiots is the term I'm going with - who planned to blow up a Territorial Army (TA) base by driving a remote controlled car underneath the front gates (ER V Dart et al, 2013) along with another group of idiots who planned an attack "That would have been bigger than 7/7(05)" - (ER V Naseer, Khalid, Ali, 2013).

The big one from today though has been the six men who attempted to attack an English Defence League (EDL) rally on July 30th 2012 (30/6/12). They were thwarted after the EDL rally ended suspiciously early and the seven men were stopped as part of a routine police traffic check on the M1 motorway. After impounding the vehicle for not having valid insurance the police eventually discovered it to contain a stash of weapons including a large commercial firework modified to include contain nails and other shrapnel in a design not too dissimilar to the Boston marathon bombs. I believe this case is known as "ER V Uddin, Hussain, Hasseen, Kahn, Ahmed, Saud (2013)" although we never did find out what happened to that mysterious 7th man.

As the EDL terror plot occurred during what I dubbed "Terror Week" this string of homegrown Muslim terror plots is intended to make people who will be attending the G8 Summit and worry about how to avoid having their people blown up or shot question whether the UK will be keeping all their pet terrorists on the leash or whether they're just trying to lull us into a false sense of security?

Beyond that though along with the Boston marathon bombings this string of homegrown terrorism trials is supposed to convince us that we could all be murdered by Islamic extremists at any moment!!! Therefore we had better allow our governments to take away ever more of our rights and introduce ever more intrusive security measures in order to keep us all safe. Of course our governments can't be expected to do anything about the Islamic extremists in Mali, Libya or Syria because that might actually solve the problem.

As for the investigation into the Boston bombings itself it has quite reasonably moved on to Rhode Island where Tamerlan Tsarneav's wife Katherine (nee Russell) are being questioned by the FBI. Prior to marrying Tamerlan Katherine grew up as your typical all American girl before converting to Islam and deciding to wear one of those funny headscarves that really make her stand out. Unreasonably just as this questioning began an 'unamed source' told FOX News that female DNA had been discovered on some of the components from the Boston bombs. This is the Tsarneav brothers CIA handlers nudging America in the ribs and going; "See that funny looking women in the Muslim headscarf? She's to blame so be afraid!!"

So allow me to be blunt when I say; the majority of the components of the Boston bombs literally went through hundreds of people including the two women who died picking up all sorts of male and female DNA as they went. If by some miracle forensic testing has been able to positively identify the DNA as Katherine Tsarnaev's (really she reminds me of a character in "Homeland") then she did live with her husband. Therefore it is entirely possible that she may have transferred some of her DNA to either her husband (possibly as she kissed him goodbye on her way to work) or some object (like a screwdriver) in the family home which her husband then transferred onto the bomb components without her knowledge.

In other news just Rihanna made her way to Washington the UK opened the trial of Mark Bridger for the abduction and murder of April Jones. I am honestly too tired to begin to comprehend the full details of this case. However I should remind you that April Jones was the 5 year old girl who was abducted on the day that Rihanna and Chris Brown reunited in that New York nightclub toilet. Therefore what happened was that the UK instructed one of it's stable of pet paedophiles to abduct a young girl to provide a bridge of dialogue between the UK and the US over the New York nightclub toilet incident. Apart from his name Bridger was chosen because he grew near up near Croydon (where I live) before moving to Brighton (where I used to live) before moving to Machynlleth in Wales where April Jones was abducted. Therefore he could equally be a metaphor for me or a metaphor for Chris Brown.

Personally I think he's his own man and he's a c*nt. Rather then just admitting what he's done Bridger has made up some nonsense story about accidentally running over April Jones in his car and killing her. He then removed her body from the scene but because he drinks heavily he can't remember what happened next. Obviously he hopes that for repeating this nonsense his MI5 handlers will reward him with a soft time in prison - I'm thinking something to do with Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) stemming from his time as a soldier.

Unfortunately the Courts decision to allow this defence has forced the prosecution to lay out a skeleton argument explaining the truth. Personally I think the bit that must be most horrific for April Jones' parents is the debate about whether after killing her Bridger simply dumped her body in the sea where it will never be found or first chopped up her body into tiny pieces in order to make sure it would never be found. I just hope that in sentencing the Judge remembers ever single moment that Bridger failed to plead guilty. An unconditional discharge seems appropriate.

For the US part they've responded with a story about a female daycare centre worker who dressed in a Burka to abduct and rape a 5 year old girl in an effort to really confuse Muslims through a discussion about the relationship between Rihanna and Melissa Forde. So I think we're back to that question for Obama.

Operation Misery: Month 2, Week 4, Day 2.

Over the weekend of Rihanna's New Jersey concerts; Atlantic City (26/4/13) and Newark (28/4/13) the UK took up the reigns of attempting to knock Rihanna off balance and ruin the shows. Primarily this centred around UK boyband "The Wanted" releasing previews of their new single entitled "Walks Like Rihanna." Featuring lyrics like; "She can't dance, she can't sing but she walks like Rihanna" this is hardly complementary towards Rihanna. However what Rihanna should be more worried about is that towards the end of 2012 The Wanted recorded a single with Chris Brown but have since declined to release it because Chris Brown is now pure brand poison and they didn't want their reputation damaged by being associated with him.

Also UK pop mogul Simon Cowell has clearly got a sulk on about Rihanna's failure to take him up on his invitation to meet up while they were both holidaying in Barbados over the Christmas period. Therefore the tone of the new single by 2011 UK series of X-Factor and notorious Rihanna stalkers "Little Mix" "How Ya Doin" is very much "Don't call us we'll call you." On Saturday (27/4/13) Simon Cowell judged an episode the TV talent show "Britain's Got Talent" on which Asanda Jezile performed a version of Rihanna's song "Diamonds." As Jezile is only 12 years old this prompted a minor scandal about Rihanna sexualising her young fans and exposing them to drug references. Fortunately no-one watches Britain's Got Talent so this was really only noticed by readers of the UK's "Daily Star" newspaper.

Mainly because she was unlikely to have heard about any of this Rihanna didn't allow this to affect her Newark concert in any way. She arrived on the standard stage at around 22:00 (local) and competently worked her way through the standard set-list and costume changes although I don't know the exact running order for what was a vocally strong performance. The only complaint was that Rihanna seemed aloof and disinterested throughout. This should hardly come as much of a surprise because we are at the fag end of the US leg of the tour and trust me once you've performed this as many times as Rihanna has and watched it as many times as I have it becomes really difficult to get excited about it.

Ahead of Monday's (29/4/13) Washington DC concert disruption duties had been firmly handed back to the Americans who led primarily with the first day full day of the Micheal Jackson wrongful death suit. I've already explained at great length how the Jackson families highly questionable grounds for bringing this suit puts great pressure on everyone in the California based entertainment industry and puts specific pressure on Rihanna, Chris Brown and I through metaphorical references to us. However what I found interesting is that the Jackson family lawyers have given up alluding to Rihanna's concert promoters Live Nation and instead have started naming them specifically. The Jackson family argument is now that the pressure of competing with Live Nation forced rival concert promoter AEG to disregard Micheal Jackson's safety in order to go ahead with the "This Is It" tour.

The other main pressure ahead of the Washington DC concert was that it was attended by Malia Obama - the daughter of US President Barack Obama. That obviously should have been hugely embarrassing for Rihanna because she spent most of late-2012 campaigning for Barack Obama's rival Mitt Romney. It should though have given Rihanna's CIA handlers a moment for pause by reminding them that the objectives they plan for through their Rihanna operations simply do not get achieved. Therefore they should stop annoying everyone by trying. It also raises an interesting question for President Obama - namely if one of his daughters was being treated as badly as Rihanna would he still be prepared to overlook it.

Again Rihanna didn't let this affect her performance delivering a vocally strong and competent performance featuring the standard set-list and costume changes although again I'm not sure of the exact running order. Although Rihanna actually managed to arrive on stage early at around 21:30 (local) the main complaint was that she seemed aloof and disinterested. However again this is understandable especially as I've just noticed the notes I made for Rihanna's Washington DC performance are exactly the same as the notes I made for her Newark performance. On this occasion Rihanna's aloofness did seem to be slipping into a contempt for her fans so it might be an idea for her to remember that the problem with this tour is the management not the fans.

As the US leg draws to a close Rihanna's management seem intent on creating even more problems. Firstly it is now less than a week until Rihanna is scheduled to play her rescheduled Boston concert and Live Nation have yet to announce the cancellation of that concert despite most everyone in the industry dropping major f*cking hints. The reason for this boneheaded stupidity is that Live Nation seem to be under the impression that the Boston concert will help boost customers for the US TV showing and international DVD release of the documentary on Rihanna's "777 Tour." I've not seen this documentary but those who have inform me it is a complete PR gloss job that will be unrecognisable to anyone who was actually involved in the 777 Tour.

For example it will make no reference to how that tour was used to apply pressure to all parties involved in Israel's "Pillars of Cloud" operation against Palestine in November 2012. Fortunately the Israelis have decided to remind everybody of this by launching air-strikes against Gaza over the weekend prompting the inevitable retaliation from Gaza. Today Israel assassinated the person they claim was responsible for the retaliatory strike. By local standards this is all very minor a simply serves as an Israeli reminder to Rihanna's CIA handlers that the operations in Mali and Syria are far too important to be jeopardised by any Chris Brown related nonsense.

The big problem over the coming weeks is of course going to be Chris Brown who celebrates his birthday on May 5th. So regardless of whether Rihanna finishes her tour in Brooklyn (5/5/13) or Boston (6/5/13) there is a lot of speculation that Rihanna and Chris Brown will reunite to celebrate his birthday and Rihanna's three week break. This speculation includes discussion about whether Brown's 'father' (read as CIA handler) approves of the relationship and what present Rihanna will be giving Brown. The tour has obviously been scheduled this way so Chris Brown and Rihanna appearing together will promote discussion about forced marriage and honour killing ahead of the Morocco (24/5/13) concert. However as everybody already knows this is the CIA's game it's unlikely to actually happen.

Therefore the main reason that I think Rihanna and Chris Brown should be kept separate during the tour break is that after contact with Chris Brown Rihanna becomes significantly more stupid. For example she's barely recovered intellectually from her last exposure at the beginning of April. Rihanna is really going to need her game head on for the Morocco concert and Chris Brown will jeopardise that so it's simply a case of him being banned from contact with Rihanna. Fortunately Brown has already announced that he will be in Las Vegas, Nevada for the weekend of this birthday (4-5/5/13). I suggest he stays there for the duration of the tour break so Rihanna can use any of the other 49 states to rest, recover and prepare. If she gets really desperate she could even fly over to my cousins wedding. I mean what with the M63 hen-party crash and the Essex hotel swimming pool deaths it couldn't really get more weird.

17:00 on 30/4/13.

Edited at around 19:00 on 30/4/13 to add: I'm back from the pub but there's not going to be a massive rewrite.

However I should point out that Chris Brown and Rihanna reuniting during her tour break will spark another round of those "Is Rihanna pregnant rumours." This is unlikely to have much impact on anyone in the business because if that's how Rihanna's handlers want to put her out that's their business. It is though likely to increase pressure on the tour party increasing the risk of screwed up shows.

Also at the time Live Nation were arranging the South Africa concerts they were trying to set up a concert in Israel. However the Israelis turned them down. Other nations could learn a lot from that example.

EU Moratorium on Neonicotinoid Use.

Since January 2013 the European (Union) Food Safety Authority (EFSA) has been trying to introduce a 2 year moratorium on the use of Neonicotinoid pesticides in order to research whether they function as a neurotoxin killing the honey bee population. Although this sounds like quite a dull and technical subject it's actually quite an important one because honey bees are responsible for around 80% of crop pollination. So without honey bees there aren't food crops and without food crops there aren't people.

As with any form of environmental protection the UK has been deeply opposed to this. However their main problem has been that their only argument against more scientific research is that there isn't currently enough scientific research available. As a result they've attempted to turn any debate about Neonicotinoids into a debate about anything and everything except Neonicotinoids and ultimately a referendum on the UK's role within the EU. Their latest effort ahead of today's vote was to draw a comparison between Neonicotinoids and the Saudi and Qatari Irregular Army's (SQIA) use of Sarin in Syria. After all Sarin is an organophosphate that started out life as a pesticide. Neonicotinoid pesticides were introduced as a replacement for organophosphate pesticides after we discovered that they were wildly dangerous often killing the farmers that used them.

So in preparation for the Neonicotinoid vote we've had a slew of incidents such as today's failed assassination attempt on the Syrian Prime Minister in Damascus that seem to indicate that the SQIA could win the war at any moment. This has been accompanied by lots of indications that the SQIA winning in Syria would be the last thing the world wants. This has included overt things such as the SQIA's attempt to shoot down a Russian civilian passenger jet with those infamous Man Portable Air Defence Systems (MANPADS) and the siege of the Libyan Foreign Ministry which demonstrates the type of 'freedom' that this sort of western intervention in the Middle-East North Africa (MENA) region has brought. It has also included indirect things such as the highly questionable conviction of three British men in Dubai, UAE on drug possession charges. The fact that the men were extensively tortured prior to what is laughably described as a trial is supposed to remind us that the values of the SQIA's main backers are very different to the value system in the west on in Syria's immediate neighbour Israel. Therefore the UK was hoping that EU members would vote against the Neonicotinoid ban after being tricked into thinking they were voting in favour of the Syrian government being allowed to use any means necessary (including Sarin) in order to defeat the SQIA. After all as an irregular force the SQIA are not protected by the laws of war or any international convention preventing the use of bioweapons such as Sarin.

In the end this seems to have had if anything a negative effect. Although the UK switched it's position from "abstained" to "against" two other member states (I'm trying to find out who) changed their position to "in favour" while there was a large shift away from "against" towards "abstained." However the 15 votes in favour were short of the super majority needed to institute the moratorium. Therefore the European Commission - the bureaucracy that holds the EU together - exercised it's right to introduce the 2 year moratorium which will begin at the end of 2013.

In other news today I've mainly been sleeping. That's because I think I'm going to need all my energy tomorrow to trying and find something positive to say about the growing litany of increasingly poor decisions that is Rihanna's Diamonds World Tour. I sincerely hope the CIA handlers do the same. That's because if they break the momentum for just one day I'm sure they'll lose their target blindness and start making decisions based on what is actually achievable rather than what they wish was achievable.

Operation Misery: Month 2, Week 3, Day 6.

I have explained at great length how the Bangladesh factory collapse was intended to ruin Rihanna's Baltimore concert on Wednesday (24/4/13) in my post that can be read here; http://watchitdie.blogspot.co.uk/2013/04/operation-misery-month-2-week-3-day-4.html

Sadly all this did seem to have a negative impact on Rihanna's performance. She took to the stage at the standard time of around 22:00 (local) and worked her way through the standard set-list (Acts 2&3 were switched) and costume changes. However Rihanna seemed depressed, lethargic and not at all strong vocally. She was though much stronger than she was at her Florida concerts last weekend and considering I myself nearly collapsed with exhaustion on Wednesday it's hard to blame Rihanna for a less then stellar performance. It is though further evidence that the US leg of the tour needs to end in Brooklyn as scheduled.

The main effort to ruin Rihanna's performance last night in Atlantic City was of course River Island and Rihanna's CIA handlers getting together to falsely claim that Rihanna will be working on another clothing line for the UK based high-street retailer. Having being caught in the lie the UK immediately panicked with the story about celebrity publicist Max Clifford being charged with 11 counts of indecent assault. This in turn sent the US in a panic leading to things like the 'discovery' of part of the under-carriage from one of the 9/11 planes in New York City and a search of a Boston land-fill site for Dzhokhar Tsarnaev's computer as they tried to work out what the UK meant by the Max Clifford story. On top of that Rihanna had to contend with me causing my usual level of chaos on Twitter. That was because during the hunt for Tsarnaev Massachusetts law enforcement would have uncovered evidence of lots of minor crimes such as drug offences. This presents a problem of what they now do with that information. In the spirit of co-operation that led to Dzhokhar Tsarnaev's arrest I think they should overlook them with the obvious exceptions of child pornography, rape and murder.

As for how all this affected Rihanna's performance it's hard to tell. There are no local reviews available and there is all of ten minutes of footage available and that's all from the final (Outro) section of the show. Despite intentionally misleading rumours I suspect Rihanna performed the standard set-list and costume changes. The big difference though was that a much more basic, stripped back stage-set was used. This was merely due to the amount of space available at the venue and I think actually gave a more intimate feel to the performance. I also hope that this reduced stage-set is the one that's going to be used for the Morocco, Turkey and South Africa concerts. That's because the less there is the less there is to offend and it will be a lot cheaper to transport. From the tiny fraction of the performance I've seen Rihanna seemed much more energetic, happier and stronger vocally then she was in Baltimore.

After the concert Rihanna posted an old picture of her in a leopard-print leotard and Tiger mask on Instagram/Twitter titled "Hello Kitty." This immediately made me - and quite a few other people - think of Katy Perry so seemed to be an attempt to mock the rumours about Rihanna and Katy Perry attending a Florida strip-club together. As for the wine bottle pictures I'm arrogant enough to assume Rihanna suggesting that we should so get drunk together. After all she clearly needs a man of my talents. Sadly though due to the G8 Summit if that's to happen during the UK leg of the tour it's going to take prior arrangement with Rihanna's side making the first approach.

Finally I should point out that there is rumour doing the rounds that Rihanna will be taking the Diamonds World Tour to Manila in the Philippines in September. As the River Island thing demonstrates it's actually very common in the industry for a concert promoter to announce an artist is going to perform at a venue in an effort to force the artist into agreeing. Therefore I'll need a lot more convincing before I treat that as fact. I most certainly hope it's not true though because as with the South Africa concerts a trip to the Philippines (who are big in the garment manufacturing industry) will political rather than profitable.

Operation Misery: Month 2, Week 3, Day 5.

Today the suspected Boston marathon bomber Dzhokhar Tsarnaev has been moved from the Beth Israel hospital in Boston to the Fort Devens medical centre for convicts in Massachusetts. Although Tsarnaev is not technically a convict it is common practise for prisoners awaiting trial to be held in Federal prisons in the US.

As the Beth Israel hospital still contains many of the victims of the bombings and their families Tsarnaev's presence there must have felt like a form of torture to many. However Beth Israel is the closest hospital to where Tsarnaev was arrested so there was no option other then to keep him there until his condition stabilised enough so her could survive a move to another facility. As Tsarnaev's main medical problem struck me as blood loss I would say the reason he's been moved now is because he is stable enough to be moved.

What I found more interesting though was the claim yesterday that the Tsarnaev brothers had planned to attack New York City. It is possible that the younger Tsarnaev brother did express some knowledge of a possible discussion about attacking New York city either by nodding to confirm interrogators suggestions or writing it out with pen and paper. However what I suspect actually happened was that pumped up on adrenaline after hijacking the Mercedes SUV one Tsarnaev brother said; "Shall we go and attack New York?!" So I think it was more of an idea to attack New York City then a plan to attack New York City. The reason why the US authorities decided to go public with this sliver of not particularly useful information was to provide an opportunity to warn New York City that I was writing my post on the Bangladesh factory collapse.

The reason why New York City were very worried about my post coming out at that time was they were in the process of using the Bangladesh factory collapse to launch another attack on Rihanna. This involved claiming that Rihanna would be working with the high-street fashion retailer River Island on another clothing line. This is of course entirely untrue. Rihanna's handlers went through with it in an attempt to damage Rihanna's reputation by linking her to the Bangladesh factory collapse in the same way they've been trying to link her to the Boston bombings. River Island went through with it in a hope that by being seen to be working with the people who caused the Bangladesh factory collapse they could be able to drive down costs by offering the illusion of their factories being protected from future accidents. River Island even went to the extent of circulating photoshopped Instagram images that appear to show Rihanna working with one of their designers to make it appear believable. Hopefully those fraudulent images are now rapidly being removed.

All this is of course likely to have a detrimental effect on Rihanna's performance in Atlantic City tonight. After all she is probably trying to decide whether to sue River Island for defamation and if so how that will affect the existing licensing agreement. I will most likely be watching porn.

Operation Misery: Month 2, Week 3, Day 4.

As the hunt for Dzhokhar Tsarnaev was reaching it's dramatic conclusion in Boston, US on Friday (19/4/13) a 6.8 magnitude earthquake struck Sichuan province in China. Although this was only considered a medium 'quake as it struck in a region with loose to non-existent building regulations it did a lot of damage killing some 192 people, injuring 11,000 and making tens of thousand homeless. However as with the death of the Chinese national in the Boston marathon bombings this was more of a disaster for the US then it was for China.

By carrying out the Boston marathon bombings, the Ricin letters conspiracy and the explosion at the Texas fertiliser factory the US was trying to make itself the centre of attention and open a series of so-called diplomatic bridges of communication with its allies. China would obviously be excluded from these bilaterals and therefore be forced to try and break the code to find out the contents of these discussions. Through the Sichuan earthquake the environment, god or just plain dumb luck handed China its own rival disaster through which to have coded discussions with its allies. So we had things like a female TV reporter doing live on-scene reports whilst wearing a wedding dress and a 'miracle baby' that was delivered amid the rubble and could have been a reference to the West element of the Texas explosion. My favourite bit though was that the epicentre of the 'quake was within Lechuan county which is very rural area. This led to lots of talk of Country Roads being blocked, Country Roads being made unstable and Country Roads having to be destroyed. There is a famous American Country & Western song called "Country Roads" which is about someone driving back to their home town in the US state of West Virginia. As West Virginia is Chris Brown's home state 'Country Roads' is one of my favourite codewords for him with the emphasis on the first syllable.

If I was a western intelligence analyst being paid to decipher all this I would be very worried that the Chinese were using the earthquake as a way to discuss the US' "Pivot towards the Pacific" policy with India - the other economic powerhouse in the region that shares a lengthy land border with China. Essentially the Pivot towards the Pacific involves using the Democratic Peoples Republic of Korea (DPRK) as a bogeyman to wrestle unpleasant regimes such as Burma (Myanmar), Vietnam, Cambodia and Laos out of China's sphere of influence and into the protection of the US. In return for this protection those nations are expected to open up their labour forces to US manufacturers under-cutting wages in India and China preventing those nations from getting too economically developed.

So on Wednesday (24/4/13) an 8-story factory building collapsed close to the Bangladeshi capital Dhaka killing 238 people and injuring some 600 people so far. This perfectly recreated scenes from the Sichuan earthquake and highlighted the issues surrounding low cost manufacturing across the Asian sub-continent. It also highlighted the main reason that many people think Burma has not been rehabilitated enough to be welcomed back into the international community. Over the last year or so Burmese nationalists have been trying to violently ethnically purge a group known as the Rohingya. The nationalist mobs consider these Muslims to be Bangladeshi rather than Burmese. As it used to be known as East-Pakistan it should be obvious that along with Pakistan Bangladesh used to be part of India under British colonial rule. This colonial history means that modern day Pakistan, India and Bangladesh all have a complex relationship with the UK.

The big news story in the UK on the day of the Bangladesh factory collapse was the collapse of a deal between Lloyds Bank and the Co-Op Bank. This was obviously intended to look as though it was a coded reference to the UK having prior knowledge that the factory was going to collapse. If you'd looked closely at the Tuesday (23/4/13) night Tweets of people such as Kim Kardashian and Susan Rice you'd know a lot of people had prior knowledge that the factory was going to collapse. However the idea of getting the colonial-era India (including Pakistan and Bangladesh) to focus on the UK's news output for clues was to draw them into a series of nasty and confusing news stories that the UK had prepared in advance. This began on Tuesday with the Godolphin horse racing scandal that I've already explained and the James McCormick bomb detector fraud case that could be interpreted in any number of ways (he could look a bit like George Galloway MP) but struck me as a general (and false) apology by the UK for it's poor relationship with reality on a whole number of issues. These stories continued into Wednesday and were added to with the latest round of Abu Qatada nonsense and plans to regulate the cosmetic surgery industry in the wake of the PIP breast implant scandal. That story could have been a coded reference to the shift from Disability Living Allowance (DLA) to Personal Independence Payments (PIP) that is scheduled to affect me in 2015. It could also have just been a reference to cosmetic surgery and breast implants in particular. After all in the original script I should have spent Tuesday night watching Internet pornography.

If you had blamed the Dhaka attack on the UK - I very nearly did - you would have been wrong. It was a US-led US/UK co-production. The particular building was only targeted because it was the easiest one to convince people had fallen down by accident. Beyond trying to crush colonial-era India the US was also trying to give it's allies a sneak preview of what it has got planned for the Chris Brown/Rihanna operation once this current tour ends. As with a lot of US celebrities both Chris Brown and Rihanna have their own clothing lines. I've not been bothered to research Chris Brown's "Black Pyramid" brand. However from what I can tell Rihanna's arrangement with River Island is a simple licensing agreement. That is to say River Island have simply paid Rihanna to use her brand to sell their products. As a result Rihanna has no say in how or where the actual products are manufactured. However River Island did not manufacture any of it's products at this particular factory.

Once Rihanna and Chris Brown's days of sell-out world tours are over (on current schedule 2014 for Rihanna, for Chris Brown mission accomplished) and they're left slogging their way around unprofitable parts of the developing world the income from this type of clothing deal will become increasingly important to them. Having dubbed herself "Fashion Killa" in response to the Bangladesh factory collapse Rihanna is clearly at least slightly concerned about the conditions in the factories in which her River Island line is manufactured. Therefore the CIA handlers intend to push her into future clothing deals that won't make her much money but will raise the ethical and political issues involved in the globalised manufacturing trade. Addidas' decision to move production the Philippines in response to Nike pressure is a good case study if you're interested in that sort of thing. Here I have to point out that Chris Brown's ex-girlfriend Karrueche Tran also has her own clothing line. Being half-American and half-Vietnamese Tran seems a much more fitting choice for this type of mission. However feel I don't know her well enough to suggest Chris Brown is inflicted on her for a second time.

On top of all this Rihanna's handlers also made more specific attempts to knock her off balance in order to ruin her Baltimore (24/4/13) concert. Firstly someone started a rumour that Rihanna had spent USD8000 at a Miami strip-club on Saturday (20/4/13). The intention here was to make Rihanna appear spoilt, selfish and feckless with money. It is also simply not true. If you look at the Twitter/Instagram pictures of the evening that Rihanna herself posted you can see she was tipping the strippers with $1 bills. A stack of 8000 $1 bills stands about 1'6" (50cm) high and is far too heavy to carry around on a night out. So in reality Rihanna spent - at most - USD2000. Considering how much Rihanna earns compared with how much as stripper earns for pretty much the same job this seems more like a charitable donation to the less fortunate. However I get the feeling me saying that is only going to make Rihanna's next trip to a strip-club that little bit more expensive.

Also the website TMZ.com reported that Rihanna was joined at the strip-club by Katy Perry. As Katy Perry was in California on the other side of the US on Saturday this was clearly untrue and quickly denied by both parties. You may remember that towards the end of 2012 Katy Perry and Rihanna reportedly fell out as friends over Rihanna's decision to reunite with Chris Brown. Therefore this rumour was started to force both Katy Perry and Rihanna to comment publicly on the status of their friendship. I honestly don't know the status of their friendship and could you honestly define the status of one of you friendships? However if Katy Perry and Rihanna are having a conversation about spanking each other I'm most certainly getting involved.

As for how all this affected Rihanna's performance in Baltimore I genuinely haven't had time to look. However as I've not even heard rumours of any disasters I'm assuming it went fine. I honestly hope to add to that tomorrow (or Saturday) when I've had a chance to catch-up. I will though have to spend at least part of tomorrow giving Rihanna a lot of stick for being too posh to stay in New Jersey.

UNSC to Vote on Mali Peacekeeping Force.

Today the United Nations Security Council (UNSC) is scheduled to vote on authorising an African-led peacekeeping mission for Mali. Before I comment on that though I need to do a quick bit of housekeeping.

Yesterday (24/4/13) I received a letter from the Department of Work and Pensions (DWP) inviting me to a work focused interview at some point in May. As I'm in receipt of tax credits rather than any actual  money from the DWP this interview is entirely voluntary. I think you can guess what my answer is going to be. However I should point that it is unlikely that I will be able to hold off applying for means tested Employment Support Allowance (ESA) much beyond July 2013.

This brings me neatly onto today's UNSC vote. If the tabled resolution is passed it will authorise the deployment of an UN peacekeeping force to Mali starting on July 1st 2013 (1/7/13) however there are no guarantees that anyone will actually contribute troops to the mission. France obviously will support the resolution as will the US and the UK. Azerbaijan, Australia and Rwanda will vote lock-step with the UK. Due to the confusion regarding Syria the US and the UK is hoping that Russia and China will fail to realise that they have great incentive to veto the resolution. Therefore the early indications are that the resolution will pass. This will be a great mistake.

The fundamental question in front of the UNSC is whether Mali represents a safe and stable enough environment for a peacekeeping rather than a combat force to operate in. The answer to this clearly no. Although most of the conventional combat in Mali is now over there is a lot of evidence that many of the Islamist militants have merely melted into the local population. This sets the stage for an Afghanistan style asymmetric insurgency. Recent events in Nigeria show that African troops are not well trained nor well equipped enough to deal with this type of security threat so their presence is likely to make the situation worse. Also there is a civil society vacuum with the Malian government lacking a presence in let alone the ability to operate in much of northern Mali. Beyond that there is still the issue of the Tuareg's who show no indication of ending their quest for an independent state. It was this conflict along with the military coup that created the space for the Islamist insurgency.

As for the wider geo-political context that any peacekeeping force will be forced to operate in; In the past 10 days we have seen more then 500 people killed in things like the Boston marathon bombings, the Texas fertiliser plant explosion, the Baghdad coffee shop bombing, the weekend massacre in Baga, Nigeria and the Bangladesh factory collapse. This is clearly not a safe and stable operating environment. There is also no evidence that the US or the UK have any intention of stabilising that operating environment. Despite all the bold claims regarding the Boeing 787 Dreamliner battery fix Chris Brown remains out of prison. Also surrounding Rihanna's tour there have been a series of small, low-level, niggly little things suggesting that the US consider the operation to be continuing as planned.

For example at Rihanna's Atlanta concert the tour promoters Live Nations foolishly guest listed an individual known as Kenya Moore who is the star of a reality TV show "The Real Housewives of Atlanta." The Kenya part of her name is clearly a reference to the nation of Kenya while the fact she is a reality-TV star is a reference to the reality-TV show style nature of Rihanna and Chris Brown's car-crash of a relationship. Ahead of yesterday's Baltimore concert Rihanna on Tuesday attended the party thrown by National Football League (NFL). This was an obvious reference to Baltimore's presence in the Superbowl and the issues of African-American attitudes to homosexuality that involved. During Rihanna's Baltimore concert details emerged of a corruption scandal in the Baltimore prison system in which the leader of a prison gang impregnated at least four female prison guards in a story that can be interpreted any number of ways. In the meantime Rihanna's handlers are putting increasing levels of pressure on her fans to make sure that details of Rihanna's concerts are kept as closely guarded secrets through things like the release of the tour book.

Therefore my position remains unchanged - the UN simply cannot authorise a peacekeeping force for Mali until the US lifts it's protection of Chris Brown and he is placed on very strict bail conditions. For purely selfish reasons I would also say that the UNSC should hold off on a Mali force until such a time as the UK accepts that I am not capable of work related activity and awards me non-means tested ESA. However I'm a big boy and I think I can take care of that one myself.

13:20 on 25/4/13.

Edited at around 14:45 on 25/4/13 to add;

The UNSC has voted in favour of the resolution. What's clearly happened is that that members have believed US assurances that they're going to stabilise the operating environment by terminating the Chris Brown operation at his June 10th (10/6/13) Court apparence. Coming so close the the G8 Summit this clearly isn't going to happen and the conflict in Mali is going to re-intensify from July onwards. The US have pretty much just confirmed this with its sarcastic announcement that the Dreamliner is being cleared to carry passengers.

I must say I'm very surprised that Russia and China missed a trick by failing to veto the resolution. It's quite clear that the US and the UK are forcing African nations into this peacekeeping force with a gun to thier backs. I mean that literally because things like the attack in Baga in Nigeria show that if African nations don't sign up to the Mali operation the UK will direct the Islamists to attack neighbouring nations. Therefore if Russia and China had given those African nations a way out by vetoing the resolution they would pretty much be garunteed every mining concession and government contract on the continent for the next 20 years or so at the expense of the US in particular.

The fact that hasn't happened is just further evidence that the US' current position in the world is primarily the result of the charity of others. Something the US will be well minded to remember.

Bangladesh Building Collapse.

As the Dohktar Tsarnaev siege was coming to it's dramatic conclusion in Boston, US on Friday (19/4/13) an earthquake struck Sichuan province in China. Although this was relatively small earthquake (around 6.8.) it struck in a relatively poor rural area with loose to non-existant building regulations. As a result a large number of people were killed and injured although as apparently I'm not allowed to use Google I can't recall the exact figures.

I actually thought there was a certain poetic justice to this earthquake. You see the US had put on things like the Boston marathon bombings and the Texas fertiliser plant explosion in order to confuse the Chinese and open up lots of complex bilateral discussions with it's allies. Through the Sichuan earthquake god, nature, luck or what ever you want to call it gave the Chinese their own competing disaster. Obviously I've not been able to look at the Sichuan earthquake in great detail because I've been really busy. However if I was looking at the Sichuan earthquake one thing I would be looking for is evidence of bilateral discussions between China and India - the other regional economic power house which shares a long and disputed land border with China.

Nestled between India and the sea you have Bangladesh. Today a building collapsed in the Bangladeshi capital Dhaka (remember it for pub-quizzes) creating scenes and issues reminiscent of the Sichuan earthquake. With at least 70 dead and 200 currently injured the fact that this building contained a garment factory meant this collapse sent shock waves across the fashion industry because Bangladesh is still the world capital for cheap textile production. This panic would have especially spread to a number of US popstar/celebrities with their own clothing lines. Chris Brown and Rihanna are the two that first spring to my mind because I follow them on Twitter although I seem to remember Sean 'P-Diddy' also does a lot of business in the country and recently had a couple of hundred of his employees killed in a similar factory.

That should explain why the people of Bangladesh really don't like these US celebrities. After all it's the Bangladeshi people who are doing the hard work for pennies a day while it's the celebrities who take all the profits and get to live the champagne lifestyle. Bangladesh had better be careful about angering these celebrities too much because they could always take their business to a host of much poorer countries in south-east Asia who are opening up their economies. Burma (Myanmar), Vietnam and Cambodia spring to mind immediately.

I suppose the better solution would be to gently encourage the celebrities to operate their businesses more ethically. That though leads to a very complicated conversation about the entire concept of economic globalisation. If you've been following Rihanna charity work at the Queen Elizabeth hospital in Barbados or the economic implications of the South African leg of her Diamonds World Tour you would know we're a very long way away from having that sort of conversation with Rihanna.

Like I said though if Rihanna continues her relationship with Chris Brown I predict a lot of charity work in her future.

Operation Misery: Month 2, Week 3, Day 2.

On Monday Rihanna's single "Stay" moved to the top of the US Billboard chart. Coming some 8 months after the single was first released this was clearly rigged in order to show that the US still has confidence in it's Rihanna operation despite the shambles of Boston.

Sadly for the US their close ally the UK who were intended to be the big winner from the operation quickly responded by calling off the police search for April Jones. For those of you who don't remember April Jones was a 5 year old girl who was abducted and presumed murdered by a paedophile on the day Chris Brown reunited with Rihanna in the toilet of that New York nightclub in October 2012. Therefore by calling off the April Jones search the UK seems to be saying that there is no longer any mystery to solve in Chris Brown and Rihanna's 'relationship.' Also as the April Jones case seems to have been inspired by the Dropkick Murphy's song "The Fighting 69th" it also seems to be an enquiry as to whether anybody else has worked out the theme song for the Boston marathon bombings. It might be painful to learn but there are some clues on my Twitter (@Sovereignaka) feed from the mayhem of Sunday (20/4/13) night. In order to drive home the point that they think the Rihanna operation is now over the UK followed the April Jones announcement with a public transport bus being gutted by fire in West Kingsdown in Kent, UK.

The really cruel thing about the US pushing Stay to the top of the Billboard chart is that it gave Rihanna the record for I think the most number of number 1's. This raises damaging questions about whether all of Rihanna's other number 1 singles are genuine successes of whether they're the result of similar chart rigging. Personally I don't think this should be much of an issue because if you like a song you like a song and well if you believe pop-charts are genuine then you are very naive. Rihanna clearly seemed a bit worried about this herself posting on Instagram/Twitter a full list of her Billboard topping singles for inspection. The main thing that seems to be bothering her at the moment though is that concert promoters Live Nation seem to be refusing to give her permission to cancel the rescheduled  Boston (6/5/13) concert. This is a very big mistake on the part of Live Nation because with Dzhokhar Tsarnaev's first Court appearance (a probable cause hearing) not expected to take place until May 30th (30/5/13) Rihanna's concert is going to fall slap bang in the middle of a period where things should be settling down and getting back to normal. Rihanna interfering with that through her concert is only likely to make her deeply unpopular.

All these distractions and worries didn't seem to affect Rihanna's performance in Atlanta last night. Although it was far from the strongest performance on the tour it was much improved from the extraordinarily difficult Florida concerts. Rihanna was much more confident, energetic and vocally strong as she worked her way through the standard set-list and costume changes with Act 3 "Man Down" appearing before Act 2 "Jump." The only worry was that Rihanna's voice did weaken and fade towards the end of the concert although this seems to be fatigue rather then anything more serious. It does though further underline why it would be very sensible for the US leg of Rihanna's tour to end in Brooklyn on May 5th (5/5/13) as scheduled. The concerns about Rihanna's voice did make it a little disappointing to see Rihanna going out to party in a strip-club after the show. Apart from that though I thought it was hilarious because Rihanna's professional affinity with strippers and strip-clubs is old news by now.

I should though take the opportunity to expand on something I touched on while writing up Sunday's review of Rihanna's Florida concerts - the link between marijuana use and schizophrenia. As I've mentioned marijuana functions as a cognitive dis-associative. What this means is actually quite hard to explain but it basically means that it separates your thoughts from your emotions. So rather than feeling your emotions you think about them. Every once in a while this is not a problem and can be a very positive thing. However if you're doing it every day or when you're experiencing an intense emotion experience - such as living through a terrorist attack it can lead to serious psychological problems which are most commonly labelled as schizophrenia.

Schizophrenia comes from the Greek for "Broken Soul." The human soul is often considered to be the combination of a person's thoughts and emotions so I've always thought there was a certain poetry to this. Also as the diagnosis goes back several hundred years there is not much risk of us breaking new scientific ground here. This long term understanding of the psychological effects of things like marijuana is why no-one in the business is convinced by Rihanna and Chris Brown's relationship. Due to their heavy marijuana use it's clear they're not actually experiencing genuine emotions but are instead acting out the delusion of some fantasy world they've created in their own minds rather then hearts.

This complete lack of belief in Rihanna and Chris Brown's relationship has been further evidenced today by the arrest of two terrorist suspects in Spain. While no details of the plot have been released it is strongly suspected to be Boston-style attack on the upcoming Madrid marathon. The act of further arrests being made is just another indication that Chris Brown and Rihanna's relationship will simply not be tolerated in either Spain nor France. Other European Union (EU) nations are yet to clarify their positions. The two suspects are believed to come from Morocco and Algeria and have been linked to al-Qaeda in the Islamic Maghreb (AQIM). This is one of the groups that are currently active in Mali. The fact that France, Spain and Portugal are well within the range of Islamic militants operating across north-Africa helps to explain why France and Spain are very opposed to Chris Brown's continuing freedom. Portugal remains small and virtuallly bankrupt.

In order to tackle the Islamist threat from north-Africa France on Monday (22/4/13) renewed it's mission in Mali. I'm not sure how long this latest extension is for but the general consensus is that the French don't expect to by out of Mali until the end of 2013. Apart from the fact this is costing them around E2million per week France's main problem in Mali was highlighted perfectly in Nigeria over the weekend - Friday (19/4/13) through to Sunday (21/4/13). While the Nigerian government itself is still trying to work out exactly what happened in Baga it appears that a poorly trained and ill-disciplined military unit were attacked by Islamist militants believed to be connected to Boko Harem. The military unit then panicked and went crazy in the town of Baga seeking revenge. So far the death toll is estimated to be around 190. As the operation in Mali has now moved from all out combat to a more asymmetric/security operation this is exactly the sort of unacceptable outrage that will help the Islamists win hearts and minds. Therefore if African troops are to be deployed in Mali they first need to be extensively trained. That training simply cannot take place while Chris Brown is still active. Oh and for extending their mission in Mali France were rewarded by having their Embassy in Tripoli, Libya blown up by quite a large car bomb.

Today's anti-terror arrests in Spain were the result of a lenghty bilateral discussion between the French and Spanish states. The exact nature of this bilateral was one of the 'sealed envelopes' that the US was investigating through last weeks Ricin letters plot. However I should say that this adds to rather than changes anything I've already written on that subject. I think that the initial arrest in the Ricin case was simply an attempt to shut down a story that had got embarrassing. Today's release of that suspect was the US throwing a tantrum in response to the Spanish anti-terror arrest. It was a very sarcastic; "Well we don't know whose committed the crime/what's in the envelopes(!)" The fact that certain sources are now suggesting that the now de-arrested suspect - Paul Kevin Curtis - had been "framed" (meaning set-up) for the crimes seems to be an attempt to reduce the 15-20 years Chris Brown will have to spend in prison for the perverting the course of justice after he was "framed" (meaning in a photograph) committing the offence. Today's discovery of a "bio-toxin" in a US mail sorting office is just an attempt to twist the knife by adding further drama.

The reason the US is in such as bad mood about the Spanish anti-terror arrests is that on Friday (19/4/13) - during the Dzhokhar Tsarnaev siege/arrest the US Federal Aviation Authority (FAA) very provocatively gave the Boeing 787 Dreamliner it's final test-flight and approved the technical fix to it's battery problem giving the 787 permission to fly again in the US. Today that the decision went to the European Union (EU) for approval. They too ruled that the 787 can fly again within EU airspace but only once the technical fix has been fully implemented. As that technical fix involves the problematic 'Cell 6/Chris Brown' being fully contained in a small, protective walled space similar to a prison cell this doesn't sound like good news for Chris Brown. Further reactions are of course being sought through the US' National Transportation Safety Boards (NTSB) two days of hearings on all the issues surrounding the Boeing 787 Dreamliner. Also today Rihanna's record company Roc Nation announced that the DVD of her 777 Tour set aboard a Boeing 777 will be released on May 6th (6/5/13) - the same day it airs on the FOX network in the US. As this is the same day as Rihanna's rescheduled Boston concert I'd be very surprised if FOX continue.

As the UK is still playing hard to get over whether it approves or disapproves of the Rihanna/Chris Brown operation it today decided to put on a big show. This involved race horses from the Godolphin stables being banned from racing after their trainer admitted doping them with the banned anabolic steroids Ethylestrenol and Stanozolol. As my prescribed medications have frequently (and wrongly) been referred to as 'performance enhancing steroids' and I believe Canadian sprinter Ben Johnson was stripped of his Gold medal at the 1988 Seoul (south Korea) Olympics after testing positive for a mixture of Ethylesrenol and Stanozolol this looks like it's starting a whole load of conversations. However I think the main things the UK were aiming at are;
  1.  The fact the horses are now 'retired' after being treated with a banned drug is supposed to be a reference to the recent horse meat scandal that has gripped the EU.
  2. The fact the horses are owned by the UAE Emir Sheikh Mohammed is supposed to be a reference particular branches of the Saudi Qatari Irregular Army (SQIA) in Syria who may now be getting shut down/turned into next week's Tesco Lasagna. However you will note that neither Saudi Arabia nor Qatar are part of the United Arab Emirates (UAE).
Therefore I think the primary motivation of the story was to cause panicked confusion especially by raising the issues of cheating/match fixing amongst professional footballers - some of whom are very keen on gambling, especially on horses. You see on May 25th (25/5/13) the UK will be hosting the UEFA Champions League Final and they're kind of hoping at least two teams will turn up. At the 1st semi-final stage Bayern Munich are looking likely holding a 4 goal lead over Barcelona. However being able to play Messi I've seen Barcelona turn over worse then that.

Oh and remembering the title of this very long post a small element of the Godolphin story was the UK trying to increase Rihanna's stress levels in order to encourage Chris Brown to break his NTSB hearing (temporary) ban by reminding Rihanna that her handlers view her in exactly the same way a trainer views a racehorse. Let's put it this way - they ain't f*cking pets.

There final two paragraphs originally read as follows;

The two suspects are believed to come from Morocco and Algeria and have been linked to al-Qaeda in the Islamic Maghreb (AQIM) who are one of the groups who are active in Mali. This further explains why France and Spain now expect a very hard line to be taken against Brown. France yesterday extended it deployment of it's troops to Mali and today's bombing of the French Embassy in Tripoli, Libya was a response to that.

Actually thinking about it Chris Brown's handlers might want to dispatch him to both France and Spain so they can exercise their annoyance by banning him for life from their respective nations before his June 10th (10/6/13) Court appearance becomes significantly more final.

The Canada Terror Plot.

I might do a fuller version of this tomorrow but frankly it hardly seems worth the effort indugling it.

A week to the day after the Boston marathon bombings authorities in the US' neighbour Canada have arrested two men who they claim were plotting to derail a passenger train travelling between Toronto in Canada in New York in the US. One of the men, Chiheb Esseghaier comes from Montreal in French Canada while the other, Raed Jaser comes from Toronto in English Canada. The crucial detail is that it is claimed the attack was being planned by al-Qaeda members living in Iran.

As the plot crossed the US/Canada border the investigation also involved members of the US FBI and members of the Department of Homeland Security (DHS). Therefore the plot was clearly an attempt by Canadian intelligence to convince their US counterparts that the Boston bombings were also al-Qaeda attacks linked to Iran. This would then be used to justify much tougher action against Iran in order to boost Saudi domination in the post-Arab Spring middle-east. The Saudis are of course close allies of the UK who are in turn close allies of Canada.

The fact that the plot involved the US/Canada border along with the fact that Rihanna played two concerts in Toronto on March 18th (18/2/13) and March 19th (19/3/13) and will play a concert in Montreal on May 1st (1/5/13) means that it also gave the UK a chance to check up on up what happened the last time Rihanna crossed into Canada and what is likely to happen the next time. It also damages Rihanna's reputation by making it harder for Rihanna to get the stink of the Boston bombings off her.

21:35 on 22/4/13.

Operation Misery: Month 2, Week 3, Day 1.

Today is one week since the bomb attacks at the Boston marathon and will be marked by a moments silence at the moment - 14:50 (local) - the first of the bombs exploded. Today also marks the first of the funerals of the bombing victims with Krystle Campbell being buried. Later today Rihanna is scheduled to perform her concert in Atlanta, Georgia. Therefore this is probably the worst time for me to be saying any of this. However I cannot overstate how much I'd rather be taking the day off.

Sadly that isn't an option because being the first full working day since the arrest of Dzhokhar Tsarnaev international reaction to the bombing has started to pour in. It was the US who got the ball rolling with the shooting of five people in the Federal Way district of Seattle, Washington. Apart from bringing in all the elements of Rihanna's recent Seattle concert along with the fact that voters in Washington State actually rejected a ballot initiative to legalise marijuana use at the 2012 Presidential election this a way of conceding that the Federal plan for Boston has largely failed. We are now trying to find out exactly who killed whom and why.

This was quickly matched by the fatal shooting of six people at a hunting/shooting store in the Russian city of Belgorod. The hunt for the suspect or suspects continues. This is clearly a Russian attempt to open up a dialogue with the US over all the issues raised during the Boston attacks. As the Tsarnaev brothers are technically Russian, Russia will be hosting the 2014 Winter Olympics and the general level of offence the US has caused over Syria I strongly suggest they take the Russians up on this offer.

Then there is the very peculiar case of the threat of a Columbine style attack on a High School in the Netherlands. Swiss authorities discovered a threat on the Internet forum 4Chan that someone was today going to attack a school in the Netherlands with a 9mm Colt Defender (a very specific detail) and kill their teacher along with as many pupils as possible. The Swiss authorities passed this threat onto the Dutch authorities who took the exceptional step of closing all High Schools across the municipality of Leiden in Holland. They have since arrested an unidentified suspect who is understood to be an expelled pupil from the British School in the neighbouring municipality of Voorschoten. Although the British schools has pupils from a range of nations it is obviously linked to the UK. Therefore this is the old Europe allies of the UK, the Netherlands and Switzerland getting together to discuss the failure of the Boston operation. They are obviously blaming that failure on me. The use of 4Chan is a reference to the recent Lonestar College, Texas stabbings. I don't fully get the reference to a 9mm Colt Defender but as it's a pretty standard handgun I guessing it's a reference to that debate about whether I should be allowed to keep and use firearms for my safety and protection. After this last week I'm inclined to say; "Yes" although I'd prefer something bigger then a Defender which strikes me more as a back-up gun.

Finally there has been 16 arrest in Spain (8) and France (8) over a plot in which north-African wealthy businessmen predominately from Morocco were lured to France and Luxembourg by high class prostitutes. Once there they were forced to wear suicide vests and threatened into handing over large sums of money. The suspected leader of the group is an Algerian. This obviously provides a way from France and Spain to discuss the problem of Islamic extremism in the north-Africa region including things like the In Amenas hostage taking and the general situations in Morocco, Algeria, Libya and the knock-on effects in Mali. However the footage released included lots of Rihanna and Chris Brown style pictures of luxury goods such as expensive watches. Also it is claimed that the ring-leader claimed to be working as a security adviser for an unspecified Gulf-nation Sheik. Therefore this seems to be France and Spain discussing the Chris Brown/Rihanna operation which they are blaming on the Gulf Monarchies. The fact that arrests have been made seems to be an indication that they will strike out hard against Chris Brown should he attempt to enter their respective countries. Hopefully this will be the final warning the CIA handlers will simply misinterpret it as a sign of panic and therefore weakness because that's what they want to believe.

The main theme running through all these responses is that the US' Boston operation failed to achieve it's objectives. This should come as no surprise because as soon as the identities of the Tsarnaev brothers was identified Russia were quick to point out that they'd already requested that the FBI mount and investigation into the elder Tsarnaev brother and that investigation was carried out. This is something that investigators should look very hard at - specifically why the case was closed and if it was actually closed or if it was simply passed on to a different agency.

As for Dzhokhar Tsarnaev he is still in a critical but stable condition in hospital. He is on a ventilator and is being heavily sedated. However as is standard practise the medical team are apparently reducing his sedation every 2-3 hours in order to assess his progress and well keeping someone under that level of sedation is not without its risks. During these so-called sedation holidays doctors are allowing Tsarnaev to be questioned by investigators under their tight supervision. This strikes me as something of a futile exercise because if for no other reasons then he's got a breathing tube down his throat Tsarnaev can only answer by nodding or shaking his head. Plus the stress of these brief interviews could actually risk killing him

Hopefully though all involved will tread extremely lightly and Tsarnaev will soon be fit enough to be interviewed properly. Amongst other things I would like to know his views on the Australian soap-opera "Neighbours." On Tuesday (16/4/13) - the day following the marathon bombings - a special, much-hyped episode of Neighbours was broadcast in the UK. This episode featured a wedding attended by all the main characters. At the reception a cooking gas canister exploded causing a Boston like blast that killed and injured many of the main characters. The groom at the wedding was played by Ryan Maloney who you may remember featured in the most recent series of UK Channel 5's (C5) "Celebrity Big Brother." During that series he said something along the lines of the Rihanna backed Spencer and Heidi (Speidi) deserving everything they get because they " just keep saying yes to money." I can't help but feel that Tsarnaev or his co-conspirators were hoping that people would make the connection between the Boston explosions and the Neighbours episode and this would damage Rihanna's reputation by making people think she has no respect for anything other then money.

With still no word on the cancellation of her Boston concert there is actually very little I can say in Rihanna's defence here. That's because when she is with Chris Brown Rihanna turns into a nasty, selfish b*tch basically. Her greed is only outstripped by her incompetence at it. In fact her money management is so poor I'm inclined to say she is going to have to take up every endorsement deal on offer - such as her deal to promote the NBA play-offs - in order to minimise the financial hit she's going to take from this tour going ahead as planned.

Operation Misery: Month 2, Week 2, Day 7.

On Friday (19/4/13) Rihanna's biggest fan - Dzhokhar Tsarnaev - decided to pay tribute to her in the town of Watertown, Massachusetts. Unfortunately Rihanna didn't seem to appreciate this sending out a Tweet confiming to him that she was playing a concert in Tampa, Florida that evening and appearing to urge him to kill himself before that concert began.

Fortunately Tsarnaev didn't appear to get this message so Rihanna was forced to board a private jet from Los Angles to Tampa while Tsarnaev was still unaccounted for. Realising that they'd been busted by paparazzi at the airport one on Rihanna's core social group (Leleboo246 apparently) posted an Instagram picture of Rihanna boarding the aircraft. Unfortunately that picture provided so little information that the aircraft was barely identifiable as an aircraft. However I suspect it is the Lear jet commonly leased by Chris Brown. I hope he's getting the bill for this particular trip. With Tsarnaev still in the wind and after some prodding Rihanna eventually posted a picture on Instagram/Twitter showing that the aircraft had arrived somewhere (we assume Florida). In the picture Rihanna was shown in the cockpit at the flight controls. This was supposed to look like an attempt to promote the upcoming documentary about her 777 Tour but also seemed like an attempt by Rihanna to show that she was in command and she was in control.

At roughly the time the doors opened for Rihanna's concert (18:30 local) Tsarnaev made himself known to local law enforcement and proceeded to have an armed stand-off with them. Fortunately due to events on the ground local law enforcement were forced to end that stand-off at roughly 21:00  - when Rihanna is supposed to go on stage. However if you have been following the tour you would know that Rihanna rarely appears on stage until roughly 22:00. On Friday Rihanna didn't actually appear on stage until around 22:15 in order to make way for the local press conference and the Presidential press statement on the capture of Tsarnaev. I think this was a thoroughly sensible idea and helped to explain why there was a tense and strange atmosphere throughout the concert.

I would like to say that Rihanna coped with this well but that would be stretching the truth. As she laboured her way through her usual set-list (Acts 2&3 switched) and costume changes Rihanna was clearly nervous constantly grabbing her, erm, 'fanbase.' She also made a lot of effort to appear tired and lethargic as if she was recovering from a bout of illness. She clearly wasn't ill though because although weighed down by smoking her voice was strong. Unfortunately she was either smoking marijuana between acts or the marijuana she'd smoked before the concert was wearing off so she proceed to visibly wilt as the concert progressed to the point she seemed barely present by the end of the show.

On Saturday (20/4/13) Rihanna moved onto Fort Lauderdale which is really close to Miami (it only sounds right when Gabrielle Anwar says it) in Florida. Very little information about the show is available with no official information, no local concert review and only a few YouTube videos available. However it is clear that while Rihanna's performance was much better then it was in Tampa it was still very, very weak with Rihanna working her way through her usual set-list (no idea of the running order) and costume changes.

The reason for this was quite clear - it was April 20th. In the US the High School day ends around 16:00 so teenage marijuana users are normally stoned by 16:20. As stoned US teenagers can neither tell the time nor write the date properly they have adopted April 20th (4/20) as a day to honour marijuana in such a childish and imbecilic way as to make me ashamed to have ever smoked weed. Rihanna and her core social group clearly don't feel the same way as me and posted lots of pictures on Instagram/Twitter of them getting stoned along with pictures of lots of gifts sent by fans 'celebrating' Rihanna's love of the herb.

With the addition of alcohol this clearly led to the evening taking something of a militant turn. Not only did Rihanna and her core social group proceed to attend a strip-club they also posted a lot of Instagram/Twitter pictures of them visiting a strip-club. This was a not totally coherent attempt to push the issue of Melissa Forde's alleged homosexuality while promoting discussion about Rihanna's apparent love of money. I'm also arrogant enough to assume this was a way of telling me that they knew I'd been watching a "PlayboyTV" 'documentary' about the strip-club scene in Tampa, Florida. Based on patterns of life surveillance this could have just been a bluff but either way it clearly made Rihanna grumpy. However I think I've already explained why Rihanna has a certain affinity with strippers and strip-clubs.

One thing that probably contributed to Rihanna's general level of militancy was the realisation that the hashtag #LatinoAmericaNeedsDiamondsWorldTour trending worldwide on Twitter was not a compliment. Although Rihanna clearly has lots of fans in Latin America who would happily re-tweet this the trend seems to have been started as a South American reponse to the Boston bombings. The message clearly being; "If that's all you've got, Bring it On!"

However as local Boston law enforcement and my Internet connection are both clearly getting a bit stressy this seems an appropriate time to post my first draft of this while going off to have dinner.

20:30 on 21/4/13.

Edited at around 23:30 on 21/4/13 to possibly tidy up some of the above.

Edited again at around 23:45 on 21/4/13 to add: We don't want to spoil the integrity of the document too much so;

Anyway a large part of the reason that South America - not just the boys - is highly amused by Rihanna's current efforts is because that while I was being flippant about the Boston marathon bombings being a Venezuelan conspiracy the events of last Monday (15/4/13) certainly raised the level of violence involved in street level discussions about that nation's disputed election result. Personally I thought it best not to get involved in that situation until I've had the opportunity to read up on the election results or at least learn the names of the competitors.

However I must say that the reason I didn't bother to do that beforehand was because I was confident that Nicolas Maduro would win by a large margin. Therefore if there has been any vote rigging - I'm not saying there has been - the reasons why could be almost infinite. It could have been the CIA trying to help the other guy win, it could have been that small group of families trying to help the other guy win or it could have been the judicary registering a protest against the way Chavez did things. Hell it could even have been Maduro himself trying to raise pertinent questions about Kenya's recent election.

Another thing that could have contributed to Rihanna's current level of grumpy is concerns about how her tour will continue in the wake of the Boston marathon bombings. Here we've had a genuine bit of good luck.

The sole suspect Dzhokhar Tsarnaev is currently in a serious but stable condition in Boston's Beth Israel hospital. I've heard that he tried to cut his own throat so local SWAT blasted him in the lower limbs with a shot-gun. If you know a bit about how shot-guns and explosives work considering the type of bombs Tsarnaev is accused of planting this is downright hilarious. Either way I don't see him being fit to be charged with any offence for the next 3-4 weeks. The 48 hour public safety exemption to Miranda has already expired.

The US leg of Rihanna's tour is scheduled to end in Brooklyn on May 5th (5/5/13) which is well within that 4 week limit. Therefore I think the rest of the tour should be able to go ahead without too much damage. However I think the already rescheduled Boston (6/5/13) concert should be cancelled at least a week in advance as a mark of respect. That's because the handlers have no chance of selling the threat of violence or protests ahead of the Morocco (24/5/13) concert. They do though have an excellent chance of selling a reality in which people just "tut" loudly whenever a Rihanna song comes on the radio and that level of mild annoyance gets translated into them never buying a Rihanna song/concert ticket/perfume/clothe ever again.

Obviously though people will be looking to Boston for a final answer even if I think I've just chanced on an excellent enhanced interrogation technique for DT.

Boston Bombing Suspect Arrested.

At roughly the time the doors opened for Rihanna's concert in Tampa, Florida Dzhokhar Tsarnaev was discovered hiding a boat in the backyard of a house in Watertown, Massachusetts. It appears that Tsarnaev had been hiding in that location since escaping from the police during the gun battle in which his older brother Tamerlan Tsarnaev was killed. There are obvious question to be asked about why that location was amongst the last to be searched and why it was searched at the time it was. However it appears that Tsarnaev himself chose that time by exposing his location to neighbours and every search has got start somewhere and end somewhere.

Beyond that though the police's conduct was exemplary. Despite coming under fire from the suspect rather then storming in all guns blazing they surrounded the boat and attempted to negotiate with him. A part of this negotiation was extensive use of stun grenades which is a standard tactic intended to disorientate the suspect and basically exhaust them. After close to two hours of negotiation it became clear that Tsarnaev had been wounded in the gun battle that killed his brother and would likely die of those injuries before giving himself up. So the police took the tough decision to assault the boat shooting Tsarnaev with a shot-gun in the process. A shot-gun is of course one of the least lethal weapons in a SWAT team's arsenal. Once he'd been disarmed Tsarnaev was given immediate medical attention at the scene before being transferred to the Beth Israel hospital in Boston where he is said to be in serious but stable condition under armed guard.

The fact that Tsarnaev was hiding in a boat was clearly a reference to Rihanna's fanbase known as "The Navy." It was also intended to be a reference to the 2009 hijacking of the Maersk Alabama cargo ship by Somali pirates. This ended with the pirates being killed by US Navy SEALs after they had abandoned the ship and were holding their hostages in a small life boat similar in size to the boat Tsarnaev was hiding in. This was obviously intended to promote discussion about Somalia, piracy and the wider east African region which in includes controversial nations such as the Sudans, Kenya, Uganda and Rwanda and by extension the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC) and the Central African Republic (CAR). The discussion of Navy SEALs also touches on the killing of Osama bin Laden and is just another little Rihanna reference.

The fact that the boat had been wrapped in plastic to protect it from the winter weather was a reference to Judaism and Israel. Specifically a very extreme sect of Juadism whose priests are forbidden from coming in contact with the dead even to the extent that they're not allowed to walk through graveyards. This presents quite a problem when they try and fly in or out of Israel's Ben Gurion airport in Tel Aviv because it is surrounded by I think four cemeteries. They have though come up with the quite bizarre solution of wrapping themselves up in giant plastic bags as they sit in their aeroplane seats. Pictures of one such priest doing this went viral last week after some snapped a picture and uploaded it to the Internet proving that even Orthodox Jews think those guys are a bit odd.

I think even before Tsarnaev arrived at the hospital a debate started about his legal rights as a prisoner with FBI officials announcing that he had been and will be questioned without his Miranda rights (5th Amendment US Constitution basically) citing a public-safety exemption. Today Republican Senators called for Tsarnaev to be deemed a irregular combatant which basically means he has no rights at all and is a designation used for prisoners in Guantanamo Bay. This obviously intended to promote discussion to the US' responses to the 9/11 attacks in terms of things like Guantanamo Bay and the Patriot Act(s). The reference to irregular combatants has a specific resonance in terms of Syria where those who support the Saudi and Qatari Irregular Army (SQIA) who are irregular combatants have long attempted to argue that there is anything that Syria forces are not allowed to do them. Legally they're quite wrong.

The Miranda issue particularly worries me but not because I have any great concern for Tsarnaev rights. In order to use a public safety exemption there needs to be a continuing threat to public safety - the arrest of a single member of a larger terrorist cell being a prime example. Although I think Tsarnaev is just a small part of a much wider conspiracy I don't think there will be much in the way of Court admissible evidence to support that nor do I think Tsarnaev's co-conspirators will be handing themselves in any time soon. Immediately after Tsarnaev's arrest state and federal officials announced that they considered the situation to be over and that there is no indication that Tsarnaev had any accomplices. Therefore it is questionable that they will meet the legal criteria needed for a public-safety exemption to Miranda. To me this looks like someone is already trying to help Tsarnaev escape prosecution. That will obviously cause public outrage leading to increased support for the post-9/11 measures such as the Patriot Act(s).

As for the irregular combatant issue I've always found that deeply stupid. For example in the discussion of Margaret Thatcher's time as UK Prime Minister I mentioned that she watched 10 Irish Republican Army (IRA) prisoners starve themselves to death. The reason those IRA prisoners were on hunger strike was in an effort to get themselves declared political prisoners rather then just common criminals as that would add credibility to their cause. Therefore I can't help but thinking that classing Tsarnaev as an irregular combatant will only add legitimacy to what ever grievance he is going to claim drove him to carry out the attacks.

That said though I don't think that Tsarnaev should be treated as a common criminal. For example providing there is at least prima facia evidence that he is actually the guy who has carried out the attacks I have no problem with investigators being given as long as they need to question him - I for one will be very interested in his feelings towards Rihanna. Obviously I think he should be treated humanely through out that questioning. As for the issue of legal counsel it's actually very common that people who have an attorney appointed to them because they cannot afford an attorney to discover that they've been appointed a really, really bad attorney.

I think those are all questions that can wait for a later date because Tsarnaev is clearly not in a position to be interviewed with or without a lawyer present. That could raise problems with the amount of time Tsarnaev can be held before trial although I should point out that in the UK it doesn't because if a person under arrest is taken to hospital the so-called 'custody clock' stops which is just one of the dirty tricks the police can use to extend a persons stay in custody. However if it is a problem in the Tsarnaev case the solutions quite simple - you just de-arrest him while he is in hospital and re-arrest him when he is fit enough to be interviewed although that could further aid his defence depending on the Judge.

21:15 on 20/4/13.

Edited at around 00:05 on 21/4/13 to add;

Although I don't want to prejudice the discussion about Miranda rights with the suspect captured I consider my role in this to be over. So while I will continue to keep an eye on things I'm going to try and focus on getting back to my normal routine. As a result I'm going to stick a load of laundry on and go to bed.

Before that though the indications are that a public defender (attorney) is going to be appointed to Tsarnaev. This seems a sensible step because as Obama learnt from his failure to close down Guantanamo Bay it is a lot easier to move someone from the civilian legal system to the military one then it is to move someone from the military system to the civilian one.

Also an unnamed federal source is saying that Tsarnaev has suffered a throat injury that will prevent him from talking. This may be true after all shot-gun pellets are rarely good for the vocal cords. However I should point out that within both the West explosion and the current small fire at a UK nuclear plant there is quite a technical discussion about town planning/zoning. The UK is currently reforming it's planning laws so you get the feeling that certain people were hoping that the two incidents would trigger me into writing that dissertation for my uncompleted BA in Urban Geography. As you may have noticed I'm not talking.

Do Boston Stores Do TartanPaint

While I've been in the gym the primary suspect in the Boston marathon bombings with hell and buggery for a name has not violently engaged with law enforcement. As far as we know he has not violently engaged with anybody else. Law enforcement did put out a call for a suspect vehicle; MA Plate: 316-ES9, ’99 Honda CRV, Color - Gray. That has since been recovered unattended and is being examined for evidence. We are currently having a flurry of FBI/Police/Fire activity in a specific area of Watertown.

In the meantime I have decided that the primary suspect Dzhokhar Tsarnaev will henceforth be referred to as "DT."

As we await for details of last night's United Nations Security Council (UNSC) meeting on Syria to emerge I am expecting a long and tense wait. Although this situation can rapidly change the next big flashpoint I can see is Rihanna's concert in Tampa. Florida. Doors are scheduled to open at around 18:30 local however at this point formal confirmation will be required.

In the meantime I suggest that residents in the greater Boston area do exactly what the police tell them to do exactly when the police tell them to do it.

Operation Misery: Month 2, Week 2, Day 5 - Man Down.

It has been confirmed in the last few hours that the suspect in the Boston marathon bombings has been shot and killed by the police. This is still a confused and developing situation so what I'm about to write should not be considered a wholly accurate and complete account of the events.

However it appears that the two suspects decided to make themselves known to the police by attempting to rob a "7/11" type convience store close to the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) university in Cambridge, Massachusetts at around 03:00GMT (22:00 local). This emergency call was responded to by at least one officer from MIT's campus police. This police officer was shot and killed by the suspects who proceeded to hijack a car and drive west while being pursued by other police officers. There are reports of shots being fired during that car chase but it seems the suspects decided to stop their vehicle in the town of "Watertown," Massachusetts in order to make their last stand in a place that is a clear reference to the so-called 'water wars' which is very big issue in the middle-east and the area of central Africa known as the "Five Lakes Region" that includes the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC). Coming under sustained fire and no doubt pumped up by the death of their brother officer the police shot and killed the suspect known as "WhiteHat" who was pronounced dead in hospital at around 06:15GMT (01:15 local).

Fortunately the other suspect known as "BlackHat" appears to have escaped the scene alive. While I fully appreciate that it might not be the police officers choice to make I hope BlackHat is taken alive. That's because I'd much rather be watching his trial than a lenghty and very public investigation into the conduct of the police officers and medical staff involved in his final hours. Such an investigation will obviously be spun into a metaphor for the killing of Osama bin Laden and the killing of Mohamed Merah in Toulouse, France.

Sadly though I suspect BlackHat will be making himself availible for suicide by cop right around the time I'm going to the gym. So prepare for Twitter (@Sovereignaka) updates.

10:00 on 19/4/13.

Edited at around 11:25 on 19/4/13 to formally correct my mistake. Authorities have always said that it was the BlackHat suspect who was killed and the WhiteHat suspect who remains at large.

The Associated Press news agency have gone further and identified WhiteHat as Dzhokhar Tsarnaev a 19 year old from the Chechnya region of Russia. BlackHat is suspected of being his brother although I have not further details on his name or age. This information has not being verified by any other source.

However as people are already talking about it I should point out that there is a world of difference between a Chechen militant and a Russian militant and due to military conscription there are a lot of guns for hire in that region. It would though be a perfect way to explore Russia's attitudes towards Islam and Israel with the 2010 Moscow Metro bombings and the 2012 killing of Israeli tourists in Bulgaria which was largely based on the Syrian backed militia Hezbollah being the key events.

Operation Misery: Month 2, Week 2, Day 4.5 - I've Given up on Fancy Titles.

Today has been a very, very busy day. So busy in fact that I'm still trying to figure out where to start. The beginning seems the best place.

Shortly after I went to bed a massive explosion ripped through the town of "West" which is in north-east Texas but only 20 miles north of the city of "Waco" which according to Wikipedia claims to be the 'Heart of Texas.' I think I covered all the big bits in my first post of the day. However I should add that as all the chemicals from the West Fertiliser plant slowly seep into the groundwater there is going to be a big discussion about pollution effects of agro-business on the environment. The fact that the USGS took the effort to measure the 'quake is also intended to promote discussion about the practise of 'Fracking.' This is more formally known as "Hydraulic Fracturing" and is used to extract natural gas from deposits of shale rock. It has been linked to all sorts of nasty environmental stuff such as toxic contamination of the ground water supply and micro-earthquakes although it's really time for people to whip out their latest research. The UK says no. I say they're lying.

Also the targeting of a chemical plant next to an old people's home was intended to make it look like the UK and the US have got some big discussion going on about my case go. This is far too large a topic for me to get into now but it includes things like;

  • The Paul Lamb right to die case which follows on from the Tony Nicklinson right to die case. The fact that Mr Lamb has had to replace Mr Nicklinson is because Mr Nicklinson had his wish granted by a power far higher then the mere Court of Protection (COP). However the Court of Protection is apparently still insisting that it can't hear cases of dead people. This is a clear reference to my grandmother's COP case and the insistence that the COP doesn't hear the cases of the dead is perfectly legally valid. That's why the next step in my grandmother's case is to take the COP to the Central Criminal Court (The Old Bailey). As for the actually Lamb hearing I've not seen the papers but I gather they're trying to argue the defence of necessity. However as anyone whose seen an episode of "Law & Order" knows that should have never been taken up by the Court because the last time I checked we hadn't yet found a way to make the concept of pain a criminal offence. This trial of abstract concepts has obvious reference to the US' infamous War on Terror. Necessity is the defence that environmental protesters always use before being convicted.
  • The conviction of Opemipo Jaji for the rape of an 11 year old girl in a north London park. Apart from being some sort of African Jaji has severe mental health problems - normally psychologists write Schizophrenia on these type of case files which comes from the Greek for "That'll do". Therefore I'm sure you can get a very lengthy argument about racial bias in mental health diagnosis out of that somewhere. The reason that we know Jaji has mental health problems is that he was already on probation for sexually assaulting a 12 year old girl which promotes all sorts of discussions about the psychological roots of paedophilia. It also promotes all sorts of discussions about the management of pathological offenders which is a clear reference to Chris Brown (still in New York allegedly).
  • The charging of the Williams couple of the murder of the Texas, County prosecutors. The latest twist in this this long running saga began on Saturday (13/4/13) with the arrest of Mr Williams over making threats to kill the prosecutors involved in having him sacked as Justice of the Peace (local Magistrate) and prosecuted for the theft of computer equipment. Then Mrs Williams was arrested for the murders. Mrs Williams then apparently claimed that Mr Williams had committed the murders in what is termed a domestic dispute/joint enterprise depending on the specifics of the local jurisdiction. Eventually Mr Williams has been charged with murder in what feels like a sad admission of failure on the part of the US. In the photographs of the two released to the media they appear to be wearing Ku Klux Klan uniforms which is supposed to trigger a lengthy debate about race and the legal system in the US's which can still be a very heated one in the in some of the southern states especially over issues such as voter ID's. "I'm being persecuted because I'm black" seems to be Chris Brown's one and only defence. The delay in charging Mr Williams was for him to be used as a metaphor for some unspecified 'bad-guy' involved in my case.
  • The start of the trial over the murder of Antonio Santiago. If you don't remember Santiago was the infant that was shot and killed in his pram/stroller in Brunswick, Georgia. I can't remember all of this but initially the case was a reference to the child I allegedly fathered after raping a woman. You remember, the one that was pregnant for over two years which prompts all sorts of unpleasant jokes along the lines off; "Well I knew she was a bit fat but I didn't think she was an elephant." It is this part of my life the word "West" is reference to. However I'm not going to explain that further because they last thing we need pikey little telemarketers getting involved. The fact that the accused are both black and the child sounds hispanic who tend to be Catholic this is an attempt to promote discussion about the totally safe subject of procured abortion through the prism of Chris Brown and Rihanna's relationship.
23:05 on 18/4/13 but if you think I've finished you've badly underestimated the healing power of beer. So; To be continued....(hopefully)

Edited at around 00:15 on 19/4/13 to add;

Anyway what helped put out the fire in West and speed up the discussion about the environmental impacts was the weather which was made up of rain, thunder, lightning and hail. These were remarkably similar to the weather conditions in Croydon today which was easily predictable. The reason I know this is that I was forced to go out in it (well I got my father to drive me because the UK government are still holding on to the delusion that I haven't passed my driving test - they're going to force him to take one again soon) to go to the local supermarket. At this point I'm trying to work out whether it would be easier to fix my scanner, post a dodgy photograph of the receipt on Twitter or type up a list of the 13 items I brought. Suffice to say though it was things like carrots, onions, tomatoes, wine, chocolate, microwave curry commonly known as 'the usual cr'p.'

Much later (while we were watching the BBC1 memory documentary) I got my father to remember that long road trip my father and my sister of multiple eating disorders took through Texas and Oklahoma in I think the summer of 2003. Although my father was hardly in a truthful mood he did confirm had they did indeed stop off in Waco. It was in Oklahoma though that they chanced on a town so small the Mayor, Chief of Police and Fire Chief immediately came out to give the British people an honour guard of one. The Mayor/Police Chief/Fire Chief then proceed to give them a ride in the town's new fire engine. The depressing bit is I genuinely don't think he knew who they were he was just really proud of the new fire engine.

Also today there has been yet another sectarian bombing in Baghdad, Iraq which is just the latest in a very long line of sectarian bombings in Iraq following the 2003 UK/US invasion. What makes this particular bombing (27 dead last I heard) different though is that the device detonated in a coffee shop moments after I made my Tweet about me drinking coffee. Therefore I think this one was carried out by the CIA to promote discussion about the 2003 invasion along with it's knock-on effects in both Iraq and Syria. I'm either too drunk or not drunk enough to get into all that. However the short version is; The US invasion essentially handed control of Iraq to Shia Muslims who are ideologically closer to Iran then Sunni Muslims in any nation. One of the things the CIA was hoping to achieve from the current situation in Syria was to strengthen Sunni's in Iraq by arming them in order to take on the Shia's in order to correct that error. Also the invasion of Libya has made Iraq very thirsty in terms of oil output so it's probably best for the CIA to step away from that plan too.

And finally the FBI have released their pictures of the suspects in the Boston bombings. Merely clarifying what I've already said the delay was to encourage people to try and hack into the FBI's computer systems to get an advance look at the images that were heavily hinted at yesterday. In hacker circles good guys are known as "Whitehats" while bad guys are known as "Blackhats." Beyond that I'm sure it can wait until tomorrow. An honourable mention should go out to Christine Lagarde for her use of the term "Playing with fire." Personally I thought it was merely a reminder to Rihanna about what she's doing.

Yeah I'm about 99% sure most of those spelling mistakes are my fault.
