Today a mass shooting has taken place close to the Empire State building in New York, USA. Although local police have ruled out Islamic terrorism I'm still not clear on exactly how or exactly how many. The why though is pretty obvious;
On the morning of the Aurora shooting New York mayor "Micheal Bloomberg" was appearing on a local radio show. He responded to the news of the shooting by demanding to know what each of the Presidential candidates thought about gun control. Now because New York does have something of a significant violent crime problem (global standard) this could simply be a local mayor acknowledging the concerns of his voters. However now Bloomberg has launched a campaign and recruited other mayors to his cause it looks a lot like he's actively campaigning for Mitt Romney - the Republican candidate.
