Famous cyclist Lance Armstrong has dropped his attempts to block an investigation into doping allegations. You see the US were hoping for some sort of negotiated settlement not realizing that last year's cover-up (which they authorized) handed me the knock out blow. They timed the Armstrong announcement to coincide with the Breivik verdict because along with Libya, Syria, Bulgaria, Somalia, DRC there may well be a growing consensus that knockout blow needs to be delivered and the USA could well find itself on the wrong side of that argument.
