Mohamed Morsi: Egypt's Next Dictator.

Sorry for the delay but the Brits, the Qataris and the Saudis were hoping that if it happened during the Olympics no-one would notice.

Last Sunday (11/8/12) Egypt's President Mohamed Morsi sacked Field Marshal Tantawi - the head of the Supreme Council of the Armed Forces (SCAF) before tearing up the Constitutional declaration that keeps a separation of powers between the office of the President and Egypt's military. He now rules by dictat without the oversight of Parliament or a Constitution. The depressing bit is that it was Israel's botched attack on a Sinai border post that gave him the opportunity. So I suppose the question is; are we still really p*ssing about in Syria or do I need to show that video of the Saudi and Qatari Irregular Army (SQIA) throwing bodies off roof tops in to cheering crowds?

19:30 on 17/8/12.
