Operation Misery: Day 3.5 - C'mon That Was Easy.

In the run up to her Diamonds Tour Team Breezy having been doing their utmost to ensure that Rihanna has been placed under maximum stress.

This included forcing her to take a 15 hour flight to London for the retail launch of her River Island clothing line. Then having negotiated Justin Beiber and his 19 year old c*ck she was forced to touch and hug random strangers in a humid department store in the middle of winter. She was then forced to go and touch and hug more random strangers (I believe they prefer the term 'celebrity') while drinking alcohol in a humid nightclub in the middle of winter. Then before getting the chance to question why she wasn't just getting high with me instead she was forced into another five hours of aeroplane air on the flight back to Buffalo for intensive dance/vocal rehearsals.

Therefore while no-one ever misses opening night the chances are she was going to do something like being late, forgetting the lyrics, falling off the stage or throwing up that would force her to apologise for tonight's Boston concert. As Boston is the home town (campaign HQ) of defeated US Presidential candidate Mitt Romney any apology to Boston was likely to be interpreted as an apology to Romney and the Republican Party for failing in her and Chris Brown's efforts to have Romney win the 2012 Presidential Election.

This is unlikely to have gone down well in the not exclusively black but predominately poor city of Baltimore leading to a tense wait to see how Rihanna would be received in the city for her next concert on Tuesday (12/3/13).

This tense wait would have coincided neatly with the start of the Papal Conclave to choose a new Roman Catholic Pope (still big news in Boston) and mirrored neatly the tense waits in Kenya, Libya and Syria. Therefore everyone (particularly Kenya) would be encouraged to show off their computer skills trying to find out if the Baltimore gig is cancelled due to Rihanna or you, know the city exploding into riot. That last point of course has a knock on effect to Rihanna's proposed concerts in Turkey and Morocco.

So I'm prepared to concede that while Rihanna is feeling a bit grotty the show must go on. She should though be prepared from the news on April 5th (5/4/13) that Chris Brown has been charged on multiple counts ranging from the original assault and various public order offences up to and including fraud and perverting the course of justice. As part of his bail conditions he is prevented from leaving the state of California, going within 1 mile of Rihanna's home or place of work or contacting her via any electronic means. This includes silly little stunts for the paparazzi that may be reported in the wider media. After all we've agreed there will be no African force for Mali until he is squared away.

Alternatively Rihanna could just cancel the tour now and spend the rest of the year giving her happy retirement with Chris Brown a test run.

The important thing to remember though is that I'm a bit drunk. I was planning for a quiet evening but then I got some unsettling news.

21:15 on 10/3/13.
