Well I Like France24.

If you've not heard of it "France24" is France's 24hour, English language news service. Although based heavily on Britain's "News24" before OFCOM got involved it did help to highlight the differences between the two cultures. For example in Britain the PIP breast implant story was illustrated but lots of long, lingering shots of bags of silicone gel. In France the coverage was, shall we say, more "illustrative."

Anyway at around 22:30GMT on 12/4/12 that was a long and convoluted way of saying that I'm now either going to research the upcoming (22/4/12) French election or look at porn. Ideally - if the techno monkeys could cope - I'd like to be looking at porn interspersed with French election videos. After all Hollande's trip round the Paris underground rail/Metro system put to the strains of Jay-Z and Kanye West's "N*ggers in Paris" has got to be an instant classic.

Alternatively I may do neither because while I'm sitting here waiting for my father to get the hint and go to bed my iPod has randomly thrown me up the Helicopter Girl song "Escape Cloud." So I may need to away to the Black Lion again.
