Is Obama Home?

Or at least somewhere safe and quiet and not clattering into foreign dignitaries pretending to be a statesman. I only ask because I've decided to tell the real story of the killing of Osama bin Laden. I've been debating telling this story for about a year because there are some b*llockings that should be delivered in person but his antics in Afghanistan on Tuesday (1/5/12) have still got me in a foul mood. So here goes;

Basically everybody knew that Pakistan has Osama bin Laden under effective house arrest in Abbottabad. So much so that Britain used to regularly put it on the news through the long running saga over plans to build a Mosque overlooking the Sandhurst military academy. However because the threat was contained everybody decided that bin Laden was more useful alive then dead. But the Obama turned up. So even his greatest achievement as President was arguable a huge mistake. While America gained a corpse they lost potentially their greatest albeit unwitting intelligence asset.

As for the agreement that Obama signed in Afghanistan on Tuesday it will see the US pay a reported USD32bn over 10 years for the privilege of allowing Britain to train the Afghan security forces. No wonder even the Chinese are starting to feel sorry for the US.
