Whoo Trains.

Do you remember ages and ages ago the British government stripped Virgin Trains of the right to run the West Coast Mainline by awarding the contract to First Capital Connect (FCC). Then Virgin Trains applied for Judaical Review and the British government used this as an opportunity to reassure the world that they'd performed all due diligence in my grandmother's case. Well very late at night yesterday (2/10/12) the British government announced they will be stripping FCC of the contract and putting it back out to tender. Obviously they would like you to think that this is some admission about my grandmother's case but sadly it's just them realising after the submission from Virgin Trains what we all new - awarding the contract to FCC would bankrupt the company within three years and see the West Coast Mainline renationalised.

Anyway I think the floor might've won so I'm giving up to gravity and going to bed.

01:35 on 3/10/12.
