Probably Shouldn't Laugh But...

Today my father has been in a spectacularly irritating mood. To give you an idea I was speaking to him earlier and he said, sarcastically; "So you think that if I read a book on a subject I would improve my knowledge of that subject?" so I looked at him blankly for a moment and said; "Yes. I do. That idea is sort of the basis for modern civilisation." so he told me to stop being so silly. Anyway he's been carrying on like that all day to my grandmother so she thumped him with her walking stick.
