I just wandered into the kitchen to get more wine to find my father watching the Olympic flame helicopters on TV when he said "I've just got an SMS from your sister in Guilford. She's just see the helicopters." So I flung the kitchen door open and there perfectly framed in the doorway were the 2 helicopters (+BBC Squirrel).
So my father dashed outside to take pictures on his smartphone. Personally I've reached that point where I can identify different helicopters simply by the sound they make.
Oh and the official reason why they were in the area was to take in the near-by Crystal Palace athletics stadium/home of the modern Olympics. No idea why they started in Guilford though.
