Today (4/7/11) in Britain it has been alleged that the News of the World newspaper hacked into the mobile phone of murder victim Amanda (Milly) Dowler while she was still a missing person. This actually relates to Friday's (1/7/11) Langdale road murder in my own Thornton Heath. I have it on reasonable authority that sections of the US media not only had prior knowledge of this murder but actually have recordings of a member of the board of the Notting Hill Housing Trust discussing the matter with a senior (ministerial level) member of the British government before arranging the murder. Sadly the scandal Britain is worried about is over the media hacking into people's phones.
Also the residents at the Dale Farm gypsy site have today been served with their 28 day notice of eviction meaning that the earliest the eviction can take place is August 1st 2011. Funnily enough the trial of Ratko Mladic over the forcible transfer of ethnic groups is trying to keep a low profile until after that happens lest people get the impression that those laws are not being enforced fairly and equally.
Edited @ 10:22 on 5/7/11: As I thought was abundantly clear all this talk about the Langdale road murder is simply rumour and gossip and therefore may not be true. Also a thought has occurred. The main scandal about the Milly Dowler case, both in the original trial and the latest developments is the way it has added to the emotional distress of the victims family. By continuing on this path I'm forced to discuss the Langdale road murder further adding to the emotional distress of that victims family.
