My plans for today (5/11/11) got cancelled at the last minute leaving me with some free time which for the most part I'll probably waste. However in the meantime;
The jury in the trial of Conrad Murray the doctor accused of killing Micheal Jackson have been sent home for the weekend. Court officials are briefing the press not to expect a quick verdict. This is the Americans lobbying Britain to make the wranglings over my grandmother's care got on for as long as possible. Sadly the Brits think this is because the Americans agree with them. It's not. It's just the Americans need someone to take the bullet for them at the COP17.
