Probably Shouldn't Put This on the Internet.

However with British Prime Minister Cameron trailing a big speech, France being tricked into military action in Mali, horse meat being found in Irish beef burgers, the Christian cases at the European Court of Human Rights and the Rihanna single "Stay" moving to number 4 in the UK charts it's clear that Britain and elements of the US had big plans for the EU. Now it looks like those plans won't be happening Britain has chosen to crash a helicopter into a crane close to the MI6 HQ in London as a way to discuss the viability of those plans. The flight actually originated from the Battersea heliport which Britain for a long time has been using to direct helicopters over my house in order to annoy me. In other news two Japanese airlines have now grounded their fleets of Boeing 787 Dreamliners so it's fair to say Chris Brown's clock is now ticking loudly.

Going back to everybody's favourite subject people are now pushing Rihanna to release the song "Pour it Up" as her next single. So I hate to be the bearer of bad news but it's pretty clear that Rihanna's role in the current album and tour is that of the punchline.

10:50 on 16/1/13.

Edited at around 13:35 on 16/1/13 to add: Clearly it's been a busy morning in London.

It's now emerged that the Augusta 109 that crashed in Vauxhall didn't originate from the Battersea heliport. It was actually on a positioning flight from Redhill to Elstree using the H4 flightpath which took it over Battersea. It was at this point it collided with the long established hazard of the Saint George's Wharf tower - a Barclay's Brother's development. Details of the pilot have yet to be officially released however knowing what a small world it is it would be interesting to see if he had any health, money or relationship worries because this is looking like a very spectacular suicide.

In Algeria up 6 foreign workers of undisclosed nationality have been kidnapped from a BP operation by Islamic militants. As Algeria is a former French colony and it was a hostage crisis that prompted France to take military action in another of it's former colonies Mali this should probably read; "British Petroleum arrange for their own workers to be kidnapped in order to put pressure on France over Mali."

In the US the wife of one of the victims of the Aurora shooting is now suing the shooters psychiatrist over their failure to protect the public. The liability a psychiatrist has for the actions of their patients is an argument that's almost as old as psychiatry itself. However the timing of this particular case which will most likely fail is to raise doubt over whether Chris Brown's probation officer can be held liable for his actions and their effects. The hope is that no-one will notice the massive distinction between the role of a private psychiatrist and a state employed probation officer. If a private psychiatrist can be held responsible for the actions of their patients they will simply stop treating high risk patients which will have a much more negative effect on public safety. However no-one chooses to have a probation officer so their duty to protect the public far exceeds their duty to respect their patients wishes in order to maintain a relationship.
