Fiscal Cliff Deal Done.

Long after I went to bed the US House of Representatives passed the Senate bill averting the fiscal cliff into law. Obviously I will now need to wake up, read and digest that bill but with it only delaying the proposed spending cuts for two months and another argument about raising the US debt ceiling looming I think it's just a case of the US government agreeing to continue arguing.

Adding to the drama of the evening apparently a press photographer was hit by a car and killed in Los Angles while trying to take paparazzi shots to the pop star Justin Beiber. This is LA County's legal system attempting to argue that nothing should be done about Chris Brown because I couldn't possibly deal with all the attention that would come with dating Rihanna. That may well be true but the last time I checked there were slightly more then two men on this planet so whether or not I can date Rihanna should have no bearing on her relationship with Brown. Besides that is a point of law now. He has committed an offence therefore he needs to be punished for that offence.

12:45 on 2/1/13.

Edited at around 16:50 on 2/1/13 to add it was clearly a dramatic night in LA because the 32 year old son on the owner of the LA Clippers basketball team being found dead of a drugs overdose. The Clippers have been used as code for the LA courts system which is why they were on a winning run while their most famous son - Chris Brown - was on his little tour. That winning streak came to an end yesterday one game shy of the Boston Celtics all time record. So while I'm talking in terms of a restraining order a lot of other people seem to have moved on to a discussion not about whether to kill him but how to kill him. With all this going on I'm sure you can appreciate why Rihanna herself is not in a particularly chatty mood.
