Even by Local Standards Syria's Getting Bad.

Although I've long since forgotten the Operation Ostrava timescale the situation in Syria has only continued to deteriorate. Yesterday Lakhdar Brahimi the United Nations Special Envoy on the country briefed the United Nations Security Council (UNSC) and spoke of a country being destroyed. This adds to the pressure from the the Gulf Co-Operation Council (GCC) nations who are continuing to call for Bashar al-Assads overthrow. This is something that runs counter to US interests because the last thing they want is a 6th Al Qaeda stronghold especially another one so close to Israel.

Fortunately though the US has so far been able to keep Russia and China on side in order to delay Assad's fall long enough for the US to gain a diplomatic foothold in Syria's disparate and divided opposition. Unfortunately Russia recently turned round to the US and basically told them that if they continue to d*ck around on this Rihanna thing Russia will simply allow Assad to fall and let the US to deal with the consequences. Obviously this has got Assad more then a little bit nervous so today he sent a convoy of heavy/chemical weapons to Hezbollah in Lebanon knowing full well that Israel would blow it up. The idea being to raise the issue of why the international community is not doing more to shut down the Saudi and Qatari Irregular Army's (SQIA) supply lines.

So like I've said I can only strongly recommend that the US keeps the nonsense associated with the Diamonds tour to an absolute minimum because they've already got more then enough work on without trying to play me.

Edited at 14:40 on 30/1/13 to add: Now we've established that I hadn't forgotten about Syria because I was being driven mad with passion for Rihanna I think it's time for management to explicitly tell her that she will be calling me and meeting up with me in person once she's done with London Fashion Week. That way I can explain through her what the red lines for the Diamonds tour are. After all I'm sure she's already given up on the idea of it being fun. That's because through making her miserable management fuel the fairy tale that she'll soon retire and live happily ever after with Chris Brown.
