In what can only be described as mixed news the sight in my right eye has now got so bad (-9.75) I now qualify for government funding for my new glasses that should be ready in 7-10 days. The cost is still going to be around £340 (USD510) but seeing as how the US has been spending the last couple of weeks telling everybody how they pay for everything I may well just send the invoice to the Embassy.
While I know it's naughty to talk about it while the COP18/CMP8 in session the latest development in the Chris Brown Rihanna saga is so funny I can barely contain myself. Over the weekend Chris Brown posted a photograph of himself sitting next to a cardboard cutout of Rihanna. To me this seems to be a tacit admission that he has breached the terms of his probation by failing to notify his probation officer of the re-starting of the relationship. Therefore the moment he returns to the US he should be arrested and will then be trying to run the "all those photographs were faked" defence. Seriously that boy is as dumb as rocks. Unfortunately it seems to be rubbing off on Rihanna who has be posting photographs taken by her friend Melissa Forde in a transparent effort to promote discussion about all those rumours about Forde such as is she gay or straight and is it her advice that prevented Rihanna talking to me? I suppose it might fool some of the smaller islands states but really she used to be sharper then that.
