Joke of the Day.

Harriet Harman. Not specifically her personally of course just what she said today.

The former minister for liberal hand wringing and wimmins problems has by some miracle been promoted to the officer of deputy prime minister meaning that while Gordon Brown is on holiday she is actually running this country. Her first role in this job was to appear of television and state among other things that as a politicians it was the job of her and her peers to do the right thing rather then worry about doing what is best from them and protecting their jobs.

While you lot might not find that funny I find it hilarious because for the past ten months all I've heard from this government is that they couldn't possibly do the right thing because that would jeopardise their careers as their careers were somehow to the benefit of other people.

She always went on to explain that the economic problems and the social problems were beyond the remit of the UK government but that's all I can really be arsed to write for a Sunday afternoon rant.
