The Kim Kardashian Robbery.

Last night Kim Kardashian was subjected to an armed robbery in Paris, France. As a vague acquaintance of Kim Kardashian this sort of falls under my remit.

Amongst the super rich in continental Europe and particularly France this type of crime is hardly uncommon. Just off the top of my head the Formula 1 driver Jenson Button was robbed of jewellery on the French Rivera in the summer of 2015. The footballer Patrick Viera was robbed in 2006. Fashion 'Gurus' Trinny Woodhall and Susannah Constantine were robbed in 2010.

They all seem to have been associated with a predominately Serbian organised crime gang who have been dubbed; "The Pink Panthers" by Interpol.

Active at least since 1993 in 2013 the Pink Panthers robbed the Carlton Hotel in Cannes, France stealing so USD136million worth of diamonds and jewellery. That's widely considered to be the largest diamond robbery ever. The Pink Panthers are so notorious that a 2013 documentary movie "Smash & Grab" was made about them. They also inspired the TV drama series "The Last Panthers" in 2015.

Although there have been high profile arrests including Mitar Marjanović in 2012 it is estimated that there are several hundred members of the Pink Panthers and their founder Dragan Mikić has been evading capture since escaping from a Serbian prison in 2005. There are also a number of copycats and imitators.

Last week in France (15/9/16) Kim Kardashian was accosted in the street by 'prankster' Vitalli Sediuk .This led to her security guard Pascal Duvier becoming a bit of a celebrity in his own right. In security terms this is the equivalent of painting a big target on your back and inviting people to come and have a go if they think they're hard enough.

Although I think this is just crime with Kim Kardashian being such a high profile celebrity and it being just 36 days from the US election this is obviously going to pick up a political dimension. In fact I've just watched CNN do a piece comparing Kim Kardashian's social media status to that of both Donald Trump and Hillary Clinton.

Kim Kardashian herself has endorsed Hillary Clinton and urged her 48.3 million Twitter followers to vote for Hillary Clinton. However she immediately followed that up by highlighting that she owes a large proportion of her wealth to the same small group of Gulf Monarchies that are desperate to make Hillary Clinton President. If you know what you're looking at that would raise serious questions about why Kim Kardashian is backing Hillary Clinton.

As part of her campaign Hillary Clinton has endorsed the pro-crime, anti-police agenda of Black Lives Matter. Particularly when she herself was trying to avoid prosecution for 110 offences of espionage against the United States. It will be interesting to see if after this experience Kim Kardashian is still so keen on Hillary Clinton's pro-crime "Felons Not Families" agenda.

After all there may not be any honour amongst thieves but there is certainly an air of professionalism that finds the affirmative action of Black Lives Matter deeply embarassing.

Also along with Barack Obama Hillary Clinton is one of the founding members of the Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant (ISIL). France has suffered extensively at the hands of this group. Most notably the November 13th (13/11/16) Paris Massacres in which 130 were murdered and the July 14th (14/7/16) Nice attack in which 85 people were murdered.

Therefore having been forced to divert so much of their resources to counter-terrorism efforts I wouldn't be at all surprised if the French police are simply unable to investigate this crime.

Edited at around 11:15 on 22/11/16 (UK date) to add;

This has long frustrated me. Obviously I have opinions.

However I'm not so close to the family that I can discuss it properly in private. As these things should be done. By the same token I'm not so far removed that I can talk about it like some sort of idle gossip.

For a night there though not only didn't you have control over your life or you career you didn't even have control over whether you lived or died. The important thing to remember is that night is now over. So you need to accept it so you can forget about it.

If that is a problem I'm sure you can afford better trauma counsellors than me. After all there should never be any shame in admitting that you're struggling.
