Stop All the Clocks.

I've just filed an official complaint with the police over that "Gladiators V Suits" business of 2013. You all know the details because I quite literally copy and pasted information from this blog into the complaint. However it covers the initial unlawful search and seizure, denial of medical attention whilst in custody, the improper use of an appropriate adult during questioning and the decision to pursue a prosecution that was dismissed at Court due to a lack of evidence to support the allegation.

Ideally the police will now write back with a full admission of liability and a large cheque. However the main purpose was to take some form of action before the 1 year deadline expires tomorrow. That way if the UK ever decides that it wants to behave properly rather then trying to use the issue in continuing hopeless attempts at political gamesmanship then the issue is still legally active.

On the subject of local issues it seems to have been a particularly restless weekend. On Saturday night my neighbours held a small house party. This was all very civilised even if I felt it had a subtle undercurrent of menace. The air of menace was much more overt from the two car loads of young men who were parked outside my house that night drinking and taking drugs. Fortunately though they did eventually seem to lose interest. If I had to speculate I would think all that was driven by a fundamental misunderstanding of the difference between Remembrance Sunday and Remembrance Day.

Either that or they they were upset because their king is dead.

13:50 on 11/11/14 (UK date).
