The Road to Pyongyang.

Very late on Sunday (1/10/17) night a mass shooting occurred in the city of Las Vegas in the US state of Nevada.

A gunman with a fully automatic weapon opened fire from the Mandalay Bay hotel into a crowd attending the I-91 Harvest country music festival. This was taking place across the I-91 road from the hotel.

Across the otherside of the World in Asia late on Sunday night in Las Vegas is actually mid-morning on Monday. This morning in Islamic Kingdom of Malaysia two women - Siti Aisyah and Doan Thi Huong - began what is expected to be a lengthy trial.

They stand accused of using the nerve agent VX to murder Kim Jong-nam, the estranged brother of current leader of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea (DPRK/North) Kim Jong-un on February 13th (13/2/17). At the time of the shooting in Las Vegas they were entering Not Guilty pleas.

Although I have my doubts it is entirely possible that the DPRK murdered Kim Jong-nam. However this Malaysian claim of VX being used is simply not possible. VX is extremely potent and absorbed through the skin. So if either of the accused woman had held a cloth containing a small amount of VX they too would be dead.

The references to VX was part of the planning by a nation which aggressively supports Sunni Islamist terror to test for the Sarin-like Chemical Weapons attack on Khan Shiekhoun in Syria on April 4th (4/4/17).

The intention being to discover whether the global community was so outraged by the use of Chemical Weapons that conducting a false flag attack in Syria be enough to get particularly the US to attack and overthrow the Shia government of Syria.

It is through this that the fight against the Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant (ISIL) and their allies in Syria and Iraq is now directly linked to the current standoff with the DPRK over its nuclear weapons program. As a result the current trial in Malaysia is being very closely watched.

One of the main supporters of ISIL and their allies is Turkish President/Prime Minister/Emperor Recep Tayip Erdogan. It is he who supplied the chemical weapons used in Khan Sheikhoun to Al Qaeda.

Recently Erdogan has been trying to muscle his way into discussions about the DPRK's nuclear weapons program. He has attempted to do this by exploiting the broad group of people known as the Rohingya. These are Muslims who live on both sides of the border between Bangladesh and Burma which is now known as Myanmar.

Erdogan has gone about this in the same way he has gone about destabilising Egypt and Syria. He has established an Islamist terror group calling themselves the Arakan Rohingya Salvation Army (ARSA) and got them to attack the Burmese security forces. Erdogan has then attempted to portray the Burmese attempts to fight ARSA as an example of Islamaphobic persecution.

Myanmar/Burma is a key nation in the development of the current crisis over the DPRK's nuclear weapons program.

In his last few years in office former US President Barack Obama pursued his "Pivot Towards the Pacific" policy. This was intended to isolate and contain China. It has two main tracks.

The first of these was the security track. This involved building the DPRK into a regional nuclear bogeyman that its neighbours would need the US to protect them from. Thus taking those nations out of China's sphere of influence and into America's.

On Saturday (30/9/17) current US Secretary of State Rex Tillerson confirm that there is direct diplomatic communication between the US and the DPRK. That actually rather old news. Back in early August 2017 it was confirmed that Obama had established those communication channels as part of his Pivot Toward the Pacific policy.

The announcement confirms what has long been speculated within intelligence circles. That Obama and Kim Jong-un were directly collaborating on the DPRK's nuclear program.

What has yet to be confirmed is that Obama gave the DPRK missile launch technology. Technology that has taken the DPRK to a nuclear threshold - the point they stop being a nation seeking nuclear weapons and become a nation with nuclear weapons.

The second track of the policy was economic. This used the Trans-Pacific Partnership (TPP) amongst other things to establish trade with Asian nations that had either traded only with China or had been isolated from trade completely. The lifting of sanctions on Myanmar/Burma was probably the most controversial example of this.

Erdogan is most certainly overstating the suffering of the Rohingya. Turkey actually tried using photos of the 1994 Rwanda genocide as 'evidence' of the Rohingya's persecution. Based on the experience of Egypt and Syria it is actually probably ARSA themselves who are burning Rohingya villages.

However even before this latest crisis I think it was obvious to everyone that Myanmar/Burma was in no way ready to be welcomed back into the international community. Everyone that is except Obama.

On September 28th (28/9/17) the United Nations Security Council (UNSC) was forced to hold its first meeting on Myanmar/Burma in eight years. Having cast himself as the saviour of the Rohingya Erdogan was understandably upset not to be invited to that meeting.

The Rohingya issue really dates back to when India was part of the British Empire. During this time it was a much larger place including not only Bangladesh but also parts of Myanmar/Burma. The Rohingya are migrant workers from the Bengal area.

When Burma was established as a nation in its own right it made quite clear that it wanted these migrant workers to return to Bengal. They've been trying to get rid of them ever since.

Under British Colonial rule the capital of Burma was the city of Mandalay. There is a famous Rudyard Kipling poem from the time called "The Road to Mandalay" which celebrates British Colonialism.

The current British governing Conservative Party are in the process of holding their annual conference. There it widely rumoured that Foreign Secretary Boris Johnson will mount a leadership challenge against Prime Minister Theresa May.

So on Saturday (28/9/17) footage emerged of Johnson visiting Myanmar/Burma back in January 2017. He suddenly started reciting "The Road to Mandalay." This prompted the UK Ambassador to shoot him a look that said; "No. Just No."

My efforts to learn about the Las Vegas shooting were hampered by the fact that when I woke up this morning the Internet browser on my PC would not work. According to the not to be believed dialogue box the crucial; "XPCOM." file had been corrupted.

Back in May 2017 the "WannaCry" Ransomware virus spread rapidly across the globe. It targeted a flaw in the Windows XP operating system.

The elements of the US intelligence community which believe Russia hacked the 2016 Presidential Election also believe the DPRK created WannaCry. In creating the virus British intelligence named it WannaCry specifically to mock those people.

By the time I'd become aware of the Las Vegas shooting they'd already identified the shooter as a 64 year old white male. In reference to the Malaysia trial they were also searching for an Asian woman.

However the shooting occurred at a Country music festival. This is stereotypically a White event attended by the sort of people who support President Trump and oppose things like the current "#TakeTheKnee" anti-flag protests in American Football.

Therefore if I'd been aware of the incident in the time it took to identify the shooter one of the first scenarios I would be looking at was that it was yet another massacre carried out by the Black Lives Matter (BLM) domestic terror group. The use of a high building makes it very similar to the July 2016 BLM attack in Dallas, Texas.

Of course the fact the shooter is a white male doesn't rule out a pro-BLM motive. The June 2017 Congressional Baseball shooting was also carried out by a white male supporter of BLM.

If I wasn't writing about this now I would probably be writing about the fight against ISIL. Particularly in the city of Raqqa.

In various battles against ISIL I've pointed out that a single person with an automatic weapon in a high building can kill people across a wide area of a city district. I think you all see my point now.

The battle for Raqqa is taking place in an area designated; "Shangri-La" for operational reasons. The term "Shangri-La" has been appropriated from a mythical place from both the Buddhist and Hindu religions.

Much like Timbuktu in Mali I think a lot of people just assume that Mandalay is also a mythical place.

With at least 50 dead the Las Vegas shooting is the worst mass shooting in modern US history. It eclipses even the June 2016 Islamist terror attack in Orlando, Florida.

Normally when spies put on this type of stunt it is something like the WannaCry virus or the September 15th (15/9/17) stunt on the Metro train in Parsons Green, London, UK. They create lots of drama and sensational media coverage. However once you dig into them there's not actually much to them in terms of damage or loss of life.

To suggest the US intelligence community committed the worst mass shooting in modern history as a stunt sounds utterly insane. That is entirely the point.

Nuclear war strategy is extremely complex. One of the simpler strategies is known as; "Nuclear Blackmail." Simply you blackmail an opponent to do what you want them to do by threatening to attack them with nuclear weapons.

However if the person you are trying to blackmail also has nuclear weapons they have to believe you are crazy enough to have large numbers of your own citizens killed and even your entire nation destroyed to get what you want. This is known as; "Madman Theory."

The US intelligence officials who carried out Obama's Pivot Towards the Pacific policy have repeatedly tried to convince everyone that President Trump is an actual madman who can't be trusted with nuclear weapons.

People have also claimed that Kim Jong-un is an actual madman who equally can't be trusted with nuclear weapons.

However as the spectacularly named Ri Yong-ho pointed out last week in 1950 the US declared war on the DPRK. Despite the signing of an armistice agreement 1953 that war continues to this day. The US achieved that armistice by deploying a strategy of Nuclear Blackmail against the DPRK.

If you're engaged in a war with the World's most powerful nation that possess the most nuclear weapons seeking a nuclear deterrent of your own is actually very rational and very sane behaviour.

Quite why US intelligence officials who served under Obama decided they needed to convince us today that they're unhinged remains a bit of a mystery to me.

I would've thought their actions up to now speak for themselves.
