Welcome to the Dictatorship.

As you may have heard British politics is currently being help hostage by a group of around 300 MP's.

This Remoaner faction will stop at nothing to prevent Britain leaving the European Union (EU). In accordance with the will of the British electorate.

The period leading up to this Brexit has already exposed those MP's as utterly incompetent. Brexit itself will leave them with no place left to hide.

On April 2nd (2/4/19) this Remoaner faction attempted to mount a coup d'etat. Through the so-called Cooper Proposition. Named after its main sponsor Yvette Cooper.

Yesterday (8/4/19) the Cooper Proposition received Royal Assent. However that does not mean that it can be considered either an Act of Parliament or a British Law.

The Cooper Proposition was not presented in any of the three ways in which a bill can be presented within the British Parliament. Instead it was presented as an Indicative Vote. Something which cannot carry legal force.

In discussing the Cooper Proposition Parliament also ignored the five stages of Parliamentary procedure by which a bill can be passed into law. First Reading, Second Reading, Committee, Reporting, Third Reading.

The Cooper Proposition simply did not go through the Reporting stage at all and arguably did not go through the Committee stage.

These five stages which the Cooper Proposition chose to ignore are five distinct processes. They can only take place on five separate days. The Cooper Proposition blasted through the truncated three stages is less than 10 hours.

Although not written in a single, unified document these Parliamentary procedures and rules are the articles of the British Constitution.

The situation with the Cooper Proposition has not arisen because British MP's were unaware of the restrictions of the Constitution. Nor have they arisen because there was some dispute or confusion about how the Constitutional rules can be interpreted.

Throughout this process MP's have been instructed by Parliament's own legal advisers, clerks etc, that what they are attempt to do it unconstitutional.

MP's responded to this legal advice by announcing that they are suspending Britain's Constitution. Simply so they could pass off the Cooper Proposition as law.

In doing this MP's have declared that Britain leaving the EU is the greatest crisis in the 800 year or so history of the British Parliament.

To give you an idea of how ridiculous that sounds for much of those 800 years British politics was basically Game of Thrones. Just with fewer dragons.

The fact that Parliament suspended the British Constitution to support the Cooper Proposition means that Britain no longer meets the criteria for EU membership. Particularly in areas such as Judiciary & Fundamental Rights and Justice, Freedom & Security.

As such the EU can no longer accept Britain as a member. It certainly can't force Britain to remain a member against its will.

In mounting this coup attempt British Remoaners have been emboldened by current President of the EU Council (EUCO) Donald Tusk.

When Britain sought to have Brexit delayed on March 22nd (22/3/19) Tusk offered two dates. May 22nd (22/5/19) if the British Parliament adopted the Withdrawal Agreement. April 12th (12/4/19) if it did not.

Tusk's purpose in offering this April 12th (12/4/19) date was that it would give British Remoaners time to mount their coup.

The reason that EU leaders agreed the April 12th (12/4/19) date is that it falls before April 23rd (23/4/19). The earliest point at which the British Remoaners could attempt to interfere in the Brexit process.

When EUCO President Tusk announced his attack on Britain I said that it would cause a lot of problems in areas where democracy is similarly under threat. Particularly in Venezuela.

The Cooper Proposition is incredibly similar to very specific within Venezuela's current political crisis.

Venezuela has a Presidential system of government. It has the executive branch, the President, and the legislative branch, Parliament. Known as the National Assembly.

In 2015 National Assembly elections were held and a majority won by parties opposed to the President Nicholas Maduro. The National Assembly then set about trying to hold the executive branch to account. Including calling on the President to step down.

Obviously the result of the 2015 public vote was not acceptable to Maduro. So in 2017 he simply suspended the constitution and appointed a new legislative branch of government. Which he called the Constituent National Assembly.

If the EU is prepared to accept British Remoaners setting up their own version of a Constituent National Assembly then the EU is really giving up any ability it may have had to criticise events in Venezuela.

British Remoaners not the only challenge to its core values the EU has seen from its members recently.

The EU has also been increasingly vocal in criticising Poland for apparently falling short in the area of rule of law. Specifically over changes to its Supreme Court which forces Justices to retire. Making way for government loyalists.

In September 2018 the EU Parliament voted to suspend the voting rights of Hungary. A vote that has not yet been actioned by the EU Council.

In doing this the EU was again accusing Hungary of falling short in the area of rule of law. Specifically an anti-immigrant law which was rushed through the nation's Parliament. In much the same way the Cooper Proposition was rushed through the British Parliament.

Together Poland and Hungary make up two of the four members of an EU grouping known as the Visegard Group.

Ahead of the March 22nd (22/3/19) EUCO summit EUCO President Tusk attempted to intimidate the Visegard Group into not collectively vetoing an extension to Brexit. This was done by the European Peoples Party (EPP) faction in the EU Parliament expelling Hungary's governing Fidesz Party from its ranks. On March 20th (20/3/19).

Ahead of tomorrow's (10/4/19) emergency EUCO summit the President of the EU Commission Jean-Claude Juncker appears to be resorting to similar intimidation tactics. In a recent speech to the EU Parliament he compared the EU refusing another Brexit extension to expelling a member from the EU. He said that the EU would never expel a member.

That could well be interpreted as a threat to the Visegard Group. The implication being that if they veto a Brexit extension Poland and Hungary could be expelled from the EU as punishment.

The Cooper Proposition now puts Tusk and Juncker in a difficult position.

They now have to tell the Visegard Group that the EU's core values regarding rule of law no longer matter. Any rule and any law can be broken.

Providing it is being broken to keep a nation within the EU against its will.

16:10 on 9/4/19 (UK date).
