Bailiffs Arrive at Dale Farm.

The day after the police declared the Dale Farm Travellers site to be cleared the only people authorised to carry out the eviction have arrived on site. This morning (20/10/11) bailiff set about removing the gantry and main gate that is not covered by the enforcement notices and they intend to move on to remove underground storage tanks that are also not covered by the enforcement notices. This comes the day after the police smashed down walls on one of the plots that the courts have said must remain untouched. So it appears that Basildon Council's commitment to upholding planning law lasted all of five minutes.

I've also been sent the following aeriel photograph of the green and pleasant area surrounding Dale Farm that Basildon Council claims to be protecting from uncontrolled development.



Dale Farm is circled in red. The gray strip running across the picture is the A127 - one of the busiest arterial roads in the country. The area below the road to the left is retail park containing a hypermarkets with extensive car parking. The area below the road to the right is an industrial park containing factories also with extensive car parking. Everything else north of the road are residential sites that Basildon Council have given planning permission too.

This is probably why the first indications are coming out of the Foreign and Commonwealth Office that Essex is going to have to be hung out to dry over this. After all even the Americans are saying that the animals that were unleashed yesterday should have been shot on sight.

Dale Farm Crumbles.

Despite having no authority to carry out evictions of any sort at around 06:30 today (19/10/11) several hundred police officers in full riot gear descended on the Dale Farm Traveller site in Essex. They proceeded to smash their way through a wall on one of the plots that the court has ruled must remain untouched and "pacified" the residents of the site with long riot shields, batons and taser style stun guns which are not authorised to be used indiscriminately against crowds. By around 10:30 the police had fully dominated the site and begun the slow process of removing those people engaged in non-violent resistance e.g chaining themselves to caravans and other structures. As of 19:00 the police claim that this process has been completed.

Although the police have managed to put six people in hospital including one man who was choked until he lost consciousness The level of force used to defend Dale Farm has been incredibly light. This passiveness reflects just how effective Britain's 20 year war to eradicate this ethnic group has been.

From the start the Gypsy Council that is supposed to protect the Dale Farm residents and some of the residents themselves have wrongly accepted that Basildon or any other council has the right to refuse planning permission on the basis of race and have therefore been prepared to negotiate and ultimately leave. As a result their defensive plan has been all about delaying the eviction and slowing it down rather then trying to stop it outright. By contrast the powers that be have known full well that what they've done is entirely illegal and were therefore expecting the residents to put up a defence that would have denied them access to the site and used all reasonable force necessary to protect their private property. This could have involved replacing the wooden fences with concrete and digging trenches in front of the walls to prevent access to the walls. Then inside the walls there should have been a second layer of trenches filled with a flammable liquid to be ignited should the walls be breached. There were also concerns that home made explosives and snipers could have been deployed in order to kill anyone attempting to enter the site intent on committing a crime.

After all if the people involved managed to flee the country before arrest Britain knew that it's chances of having them extradited to stand trial were practically nil. This is reflected by the fact that despite claiming to have faced such a level of violence that they were in fear for their lives the police have only made 23 arrests. These people are unlikely to be charged in order to avoid them running the lawful necessity defence.


Incidentally today a recent court ruling to allow the closure of six libraries in London has been sent to emergency appeal. This is interesting because the original judgement was made by Mr Justice Ouseley shortly after he made his inexplicable Dale Farm ruling. So there seems to be a growing consensus amongst the Judiciary that Mr Ouseley's knowledge of the law is so weak that he can't really be trusted to make decisions on his own.

As they've begun an abuse investigation into my grandmother's case the hospital have been forced to bring in an independent advocate who will prepare a report. I spoke to her about 12:30 today (19/10/11) so her report will have to reflect my concerns about my grandmother care. Also if she's a truly independent advocate that report will also have to mention that the hospital has brought her in under false pretences by claiming that the relatives are preparing for discharge. We not, we're waiting for the hospital to provide an accurate diagnosis so we can draw up a care plan and consider discharge.

Also today the adult social worker has called my father in to provide the hospital with a copy of the Lasting Powers of Attorney as if it will provide them with some sort of magic bullet. I'm not sure if I should tell them or whether it's something they need to work out for themselves.

The Dale Farm Eviction Begins

At around 07:00 today (19/10/11) Basildon Council decided to proceed with it's 100% illegal eviction of the Dale Farm Traveller site. Police smashed their way through a fence at the back of the site and quickly moved to surround, clear and open the main gate in order to bring in heavy machinery. Tasers have been used and already one person has been hospitalised with spinal injuries.

The police are at the seen in force but so far have failed to arrest a single bailiff or member of Basildon Council. In fact they seem to be keen to do the bailiffs job for them and are playing a lead role in the commission of the crime. Therefore I can only assume that army units have been mobilised and will reach the area soon in order to put an end to this rouge provinces attempt at ethnic cleansing.

So That's Alright Then.

It turns out the Travellers didn't rape and murder that young girl. I promise you that she died of an epileptic fit during a bought of vigorous consensual sex. That didn't stop the dirty gypos beating the innocent man to death though.

As I understand that things are getting a little excited in the middle east following the first stage of the Israel/Palestine prisoner swap deal I should point out that I don't think it was planned that BBC1 would show the Irish Traveller episode of "The Body Farm" the day after the Dale Farm appeal failed and the day before Basildon Council began their eviction efforts. It's just that based on a Traveller site that was dug in and really didn't want to leave the powers that be were planning for an operation that would last about six months.

Yeah Yeah.

Back late. Left late. Football. Crystal Palace V Bristol City with added Tampa Bay cheerleaders apparently. Apart from that there's nothing to report at my end. There are though about a million and one things I should be looking at in more detail.

One of these things is the Dale Farm eviction because apparently Basildon Council intend to start the process tomorrow (19/10/11). Before that though we've an episode of BBC1 show called "The Body Farm" on TV where apparently a group of Travellers are the lead suspects in the murder of a child.

I Guess This is Called Blowback.

Following yesterday's (17/10/11) shock revelation that the adult social services department at Croydon University Hospital (CUH) have opened an investigation into my father for abusing my grandmother I today (18/10/11) submitted a statement clarifying my concerns. It's about three pages long so I won't be publishing the full version here. However I began with a summary of my grandmother's recent history; admitted July 17th, discharged July 21st, re-admitted August 20th etc. I then summarised the conversations I'd had with the ward care team including the August 23rd conversation I'd have with the Senior House Officer (SHO) that appears to have triggered the investigation and the September 1st mulit-disciplinary care team meeting. I also included a copy of the Section 4 instruction of October 15th.

I then clearly stated that all this had been done to ensure that the care team had all the available information in order to provide the best level of care and should have not been construed as an allegation of abuse against my father. However I went on to list the following four allegations that need to be investigated;

1. Due to a conflict of interest Dr David Matthews of the Heavers Resource Centre willfully disregarded relevant information about my grandmother's circumstances (e.g anxiety caused by a sustained harassment campaign throughout the diagnosis period) in order to falsely diagnose her with vascular dementia.

2. My grandmother's GP prescribed drugs such as Buprenorphine, Omeprazlone and Felodipine in order to worsen my grandmother's condition knowing full well that these actions posed a significant risk of death and serious injury. These actions continued despite numerous warnings and requests from relatives.

3. Social Workers at the Queens Road team failed to ensure that my grandmother was following her orthopaedic rehabilitation program. They also failed to report the GP's misconduct and falsified medical records in order to cover it up and discredit relatives.

4. Members of my grandmother's care team on the Purley 3 ward failed to perform a proper psychiatric assessment on either of my grandmother's admissions and defied a formal instruction under Section 4 of the 1983 Mental Health Act. It is my belief that this was done in order to cover up my grandmother's mistreatment and help the Local Health Authority (LHA) avoid it's obligations to her under Section 117 of the same act.*

I finished by expressing my concern that despite an investigation being opened no attempt had been made to contact me. Instead the matter was discussed first with my father - the subject of the investigation - while pressure was being put upon him to make decisions about my grandmother's care.

Given the scope of these allegations which cover several services provided by the LHA including the hospital itself the investigation should be passed directly to the Care Quality Commission (CQC). As at least three of the allegations represent actual criminal offences the CQC should have little option other then to refer the matter to the Crown Prosecution Service (CPS) and inform the Secretary of State of the possible need for an intervention order.



*I actually feel a bit bad about that one but the Section 4 instruction really should have taken the matter out of their hands. After all they cannot start an abuse investigation into my father and then argue that I'm not my grandmother's closest relative. However as it's obvious that they were operating under considerable pressure from superiors they should be let off with a reprimand provided they assist with the investigation.
