Egypt's Parliament Has Met.

Following President Morsi's decision on Sunday (8/7/12) to reconvene the lower house of Parliament (Peoples Assembly) it has today (10/7/12) met without opposition from the police or military. The Peoples Assembly sat for less then an hour and it's only act was to refer the Supreme Constitutional Court's June 14th (14/6/12) ruling that the Peoples Assembly be dissolved to the legal affairs committee. The legal affairs committee referred the issue to the Court of Appeal.

At this point I have to ask that seeing has how Egypt is yet to write a new constitution under what law exactly does the Peoples Assembly expect the Court of Appeal to make its decision? After all surely they can't want the sort of Parliament that Mubarak would have approved of.
