On Friday (9/12/11) the leaders of all 27 members of the European Union will meet to discuss the October 27th deal on the future of the Eurozone. It is widely believed that this will result in the further integration of the 17 members who use the Euro as their currency leaving the 10 members who don't on the periphery of the decision making process. For most of the week British Prime Minister David Cameron has been loudly telling anyone who will listen that Britain simply will not allow this happen.
Tonight (7/12/11) in the European Champions League football competition Manchester United (Britain in football code) were knocked out of the competition at the group stage. They will now play in the Europa league which is very much seen as the second tier competition.
