In the French Presidential I had Sarkozy losing by 0.4 so I will need the proper results eventually. However at around 22:55 on 6/5/12 it looks like the exit polls which showed Hollande beating Sarkozy 52/48 were broadly correct. I mean Hollande's already given a victory speech and Sarkozy's given a defeat speech. Then Hollande phone Anglea Merkal got permission to give a second victory speech.
Speaking of which the two lead party's in the Greek election have slipped to 20% and 13% respectively. We'll need to see how that translates in terms of Parliamentary seats but we're still looking at a ramshackle coalition. In Armenia we're also looking at a coalition with the lead Republican Party growing their share of the vote. In Serbia the election monitors have not released the results but it appears we're looking at a run-off with incumbent losing votes to the Serb nationals. That run-off will of course dominated by Serbia's application to join the European Union. You see Tadic was quite keen on the EU but the Serb nationalists are still a bit p*ssed at the EU's decision to give their southern Kosovo province to a bunch of bankrupt Albanians.
While we're yet too see violence in any of Serbia's provinces we have seen grenades and petrol bombs thrown at an anti-Putin rally in Moscow. I've heard a rumour that this might have something to do with Boris Lebedev being called into the Kremlin to explain his decision to turn the London Evening Standard into a freesheet. You see when it was a pay sheet the only people who read lived in the Home Counties so it didn't matter what they thought because providing we had an effective transit system they didn't get to vote in the London Mayoral.
Anyway if anyway needs me at around 23:05 I'll be out checking on my greenary. After all in the UK it's a paid public holiday tomorrow and it'll be June before the Niggers in Paris work it out.
