In this world there are people called Zionists. They believe that the state of Israel must expand in order to fulfill a biblical prophecy. This is the same prophecy that is used to justify Britain being ruled by a monarch. Therefore most Zionists are actually Protestants not Jews. It also means that Britain considers any challenge to Israel to be a challenge to Britain itself. I know that sounds slightly insane and I apologise for that.
Oh and if you doubt that Britain is prepared to lay down the lives of it's citizens for Israel then I have one word for you. Afghanistan.
