This morning (3/11/11) four Greek government ministers resigned effectively collapsing the Greek government. Confusion now reigns amid conflicting reports over whether the Greek Prime Minister will resign or cling on to face a confidence vote tomorrow.
Edited at around 19:20 on 3/11/11: The Greek Prime Minister did not resign. Instead he gave a lengthy speech to Parliament which was just that - a speech designed to get the members of that Parliament to support him in tomorrow's confidence vote. The Greek Finance Minister then addressed Parliament and announced that Greece would not be holding a referendum after all. This however is dependent on the Government winning the confidence vote. Based on the comments of the leader of the opposition that is far from certain.
