It will be a formal coalition with the Liberal Democrats (libdem) taking the Conservative (con) whip. In return the LibDems will be given five (5) cabinet posts within the new government. Although the exact details are still to be ironed out that new cabinet will look something like this;
- David Cameron (con) - Prime Minister.
- Nick Clegg (libdem) - Deputy Prime Minister.
- George Osborne (con) - Chancellor of the Exchequer.
- William Hauge (con) - Foreign Secretary.
- Liam Fox (con) - Defence Minister
- Vince Cable (libdem) - "something to do with business and banks" probably Chief Secretary to the Treasury.
- Danny Alexander (libdem) - Scottish Minister.
Obviously as the cabinet is not yet confirmed the policies of that cabinet are also not yet confirmed but I'm going to bed.
