Wow That Was a Long Smoke.

So long in fact it lasted from around 10:00 to 13:00 which means I might be clashing with the women's heptathlon high jump.

Anyway while I'm here I should take a moment to mention the latest developments in the "Carol Waugh Disappearance Case." This revolves around a 50 y.o white, British female "Carol Waugh" who went missing on or around April 16th 2012 (6/5/12) from the Marylebone (posh) area of London. As Ms Waugh made her money in the Libyan oil industry under Muammer Qaddafi there have been some pretty wild conspiracy theories about her either being kidnapped by Qaddafi loyalists or anti-Qaddafi rebels in order to either settle a blood debt or raise funds to mount a fresh offensive. These theories of course also have tie-ins with Somalia, maritime piracy and most of Africa. However today the police have found a body in a blue VW Golf in a lock-up garage/storage locker in New Malden south west London and Ms Waugh is suddenly starting to resemble Rebecca Brooks who was formally charged with the phone hacking offence - conspiracy to pervert has already been charged - yesterday (2/8/12).

So while it's nice of MI6/5 to put their hands up Ms Waugh's disappearance I can't help but feel that reminding our Olympic visitors that they could be assassinated at any moment is only going to make them feel paranoid. Paranoia causes fear which prompts the body to release adrenaline which makes people run faster, jump further and generally be stronger. So if we keep this up TeamGB won't stand a chance in track and field.
