As I don't think this particular genie is going to go back into the bottle any time soon I might as well explain more fully the links between the explosion at fertiliser plant in West, Texas, the US' response to 9/11 and the current situation in Mali.
On September 11th 2001 (11/9/01) the US was attacked by an Islamic terrorist group called Al Qaeda who were based in the failed state of Afghanistan. As this was one of the worst terrorist attacks ever seen anywhere in the world the international community's reaction was quite simple - the US should go and utterly destroy Al-Qaeda. This was evidenced by the immediate and unanimous passing of a series of United Nations Security (UNSC) resolutions to strengthen the Chapter VII (authorising military force) resolution 1363(2001) that had already been passed in July of 2001. Even world leaders such as Venezuela's Hugo Chavez who sort of always have to voice opposition to everything the US does only really paid lip service in their criticism.
The problem was that the US then went off and declared war on Al-Qaeda, the Taliban, the entire religion of Islam and the concept of terror. By anyones estimation that is a big job and 12 years later the US is still stuck in Afghanistan pouring away blood and treasures in what appears to all concerned as an effort to provide security for Chinese mineral mining operations. Even the Chinese think this is unfair on the US and despite the constant provocation they are actually trying to help the US resolve the situation.
Contrast this with the current situation in Mali where once again western forces are fighting Islamists in a near to failed state with an incredibly weak government. The situations in Mali now and Afghanistan in 2001 are so similar that they essentially involve elite special forces doing battle with heavily armed and highly motivated Jihadists who are hiding in caves. The crucial difference though is that rather then declaring war with closest thing to a host government available France who with a lot of support from Chad are running the show in Mali are instead trying to strengthen the weak government so that government can go and fight the Jihadists itself. This contrast between the US' approach to Afghanistan and France's approach to Mali means that the last thing the US wants to be doing is getting involved in Mali at the same time it is attempting to withdraw from Afghanistan. That why for all my screaming, shouting and swearing on the issue since the French operation began I have not once suggested that the US gets directly involved in Mali.
The problem is that by continuing the Chris Brown/Rihanna operation the US is making it impossible for any nation to do the Mali job for them. So by highlighting this issue through the Waco attack the US seems to be openly challenging France not to suggest that the US gets involved in Mali. However I must say that as far as I can tell apart from repeatedly requesting that the Chris Brown/Rihanna operation is terminated France has not requested anything more in the way of support from the US in the Mali operation.
Obviously I cannot speak for the French but judging from the deafening silence to the US' fishing trip that was part of the Ricin letters (there's a lot of sealed envelopes flying around at the moment) I'm pretty sure the situation will remain unchanged until such a time as the US chooses to change it by terminating the Chris Brown/Rihanna operation. So once again I'm forced to ask; Is the US sure we're going to have to wait until June for Chris Brown's next Court appearance?

Operation Misery; Month 2, Week 2, Day 4 - The Waco Blast.
A few short hours after I went to bed a huge (measuring 2.3 on the earthquake scale) explosion tore through the West Fertiliser plant in the town of West in Texas, US. The town of West is some 20 miles north of the city of Waco. I should point out that nitrate fertiliser which was being manufactured at the plant is a key ingredient in the most commonly used form of homemade high explosive. It was this type of explosive that was used in the 1995 Oklahoma City bombing. Therefore there is no need to set a bomb at the plant to cause this type of explosion so the investigation will focus on what went wrong in the manufacturing process and whose fault it was.
The incident is quite clearly though an attempt to move the discussion on from Boston in order to cut nations such as China out. For example prior to the Waco explosion the UK had already set fire to a paper mill near Birmingham which being a large industrial site packed with flammable material will burn for days despite the best efforts of firefighters. The connections between the 1993 Waco siege and the 1995 Oklahoma City bombings are supposed to make it appear as if the US and the UK are discussing a right-wing militia link to the Boston bombings. Also for reasons I'm not going to expand on those who are familiar with my case file will know that the name "West" is quite important.
The main message the CIA are trying to send out from the explosion which has so far killed a confirmed 5 and wounded at least 160 while making hundreds homeless is that no matter how many times their efforts to salvage the Rihanna/Chris Brown operation are defeated rather then giving up they will simply escalate the level of violence used. With Rihanna's tour expected to last until October 2013 this creates a very real possibility that the death toll associated with that tour could reach into the thousands.
Faced with this escalating and seemingly out of control threat to US citizens there is only one way a US President can react. That is to strike back against those making the threats with such overwhelming force that they are incapable of following through on that threat or are at least too scared to carry it out.
At roughly the time of the Waco explosion rumours began to circulate in the US and Japan that the FAA are about to give the Boeing 787 Dreamliner the 'greenlight' to fly again. This was intended to raise speculation that Obama should respond to the Boston and Waco attacks by simply having Chris Brown killed. Gun Control Bill Defeated by US Senate.
In the past few hours the US Senate has rejected the Manchin-Toomey gun control bill 54 votes to 46. This has prompted a series of emotional outbursts from voters who supported the bill and some pretty wild accusations and personal attacks on those Senators who opposed the bill from supposedly professional politicians such as President Obama and New York City Mayor Micheal Bloomberg. Despite this I think the Senate has made the correct decision because recent efforts of gun control have always struck me as a perfect example of bad law.
The clamour for tighter gun control laws has been an emotionally driven knee-jerk reaction to the horrors of primarily the Sandy Hook elementary school massacre in Newtown Connecticut. However the proposed solutions would simply do nothing to prevent such a tragedy happening again. Putting aside the more sinister dimension to the Newtown massacre it was a crime that could just as easily and possibly more effectively been carried out by someone using low velocity, high calibre handguns. This is exactly what happened in Dunblane in the UK in 1996 when Thomas Hamilton killed 16 children with four pistols in a very similar incident. Therefore the proposed ban on assault-style weapons such as the AR-15 Bushmaster used in Newtown or high capacity magazines would not have prevented the Newtown massacre. Also the gunman Adam Lanza did not buy the guns he used which were actually owned by his mother. Therefore he did not undergo any form of background check and still would not have undergone any form of background check under the changes proposed by Manchin-Toomey. Therefore the proposed law would not achieve what it set out to achieve making it an example of a law nobody needs. So by rejecting it the Senate was simply doing it's job.
The thing that worries me though is that it is very easy to make the argument that the Boston bombings made the whole issue of Newtown so toxic that Senators simply baulked at the idea of passing such measure so soon after the Boston attacks. This plays right into the hands of those who carried out the Boston attacks because it makes it look like their bold action has prevented an unpopular bill being passed. There is a strong risk that this 'success' will encourage people to repeat the actions in Boston. That particularly increases the pressure on President Obama because newly empowered anti-government groups are likely to increase the perceived threat to him personally and that perception is only likely to discourage him from taking decisive action against those responsible for Boston.
Also the true tragedy of America's gun culture comes not from the emotive and headline grabbing spectacle of mass-shootings such as Newtown or Aurora. Instead it comes from the quiet and low intensity tragedy of just one or two people being shot and killed often by armed criminals that takes place in every single one of America's cities every single day.
Therefore I hope that Obama will find the courage to drop the idea of assault weapon bans and restrictions on magazine size and instead introduce stripped-back gun control measures that will simply focus on extending background checks to the majority of gun sales. After all I have absolutely no problem with removing certain Constitutional rights including the right to bear arms from convicted criminals. I also believe that it is entirely possible to do this without creating an unconstitutional national register of gun owners.

As previously explained I have no problem with discussing the Monday's (15/4/13) bombing as a simple extension of Rihanna's current tour. Plus it saves me a lot of time.
The main development in the last 24 hours or so is that while the family have asked for her not to be named the third fatality has been identified as a 23 year Chinese national who was studying statistics at Boston University. While this may have prompted initial excitement that this woman was in the US spying for China and the bombing was a targeted assassination attempt I think it was actually an innocent case of pure bad luck. It is actually very bad news for the US because it defeats one of their primary purposes of carrying out the attack. Obviously their intention was to open up so-called bridges of discussion with all the nations who were represented at the marathon. However they were hoping that some of these discussions with allies such as the UK would kept very strong while rivals such as China would be kept out in the cold. With one Chinese national amongst the dead and at least another amongst the wounded this puts great pressure on the US to make sure China are amongst the first people they talk too.
Therefore what a lot of people are looking for is evidence that the US will now try and wind down the Boston story and replace it with something else in order to avoid making China the big winner from the situation. This is why we've had all the speculation about an arrest being made which has since been denied and a scheduled press conference being pushed back by some four hours so far.
While confusion still reigns over whether the Boston story is being wound down there is certainly evidence that the US is trying to replace it with a new topic of conversation. Yesterday (16/4/13) a letter containing the very potent poison Ricin was intercepted on it's way to Roger Wicker the Republican Senator for Mississippi. Apart from distracting from the Boston story (US authorities are still refusing to admit they are connected) the use of Ricin also invokes memories of the 2011 case in which four elderly militia members were convicted of plotting to kill government officials using Ricin sent to their offices in letters and packages. This obviously creates speculation that the Boston bombings were carried out by this sort of anti-government militia group.
The use of Ricin also invoked memories of the 2003 Wood Green Ricin plot in the UK. This involved six Muslim men who were convicted of plotting to attack the London Underground rail network with Ricin in a plot that was widely linked to Al-Qaeda at the time. This obviously creates speculation that Islamic terrorists could have been behind the Boston bombings. However as this plot was uncovered just as the US and the UK were looking for excuses to invade Iraq in order to stop it's biological weapons (which didn't exist) being used by Islamic terrorists there has always been lots of controversy about the truth or otherwise of the Wood Green plot. Therefore discussion of the Wood Green re-opens lots of old wounds and triggers lots of conspiracy theories.
The use of Ricin though always goes back to the mother of all Ricin plots which all other Ricin plots reference at some point - the 1977 murder of Bulgarian dissident Georgi Markov in London by the KGB. This obviously opens all the old wounds of the Cold War which will be a major theme of the 2013 Eurovision Song Contest if the UK gets it's way. The expansion of the European Union (EU) to include Bulgaria is a massive issue at the moment. It also puts pressure on Russia over Syria through a spate of alleged more recent assassination of Russian dissidents such as the Alexander Litvinenko case. Just to confuse matters further the Ricin that killed Markov was delivered in a ball bearing like the ones used in the Boston bombing fired from a modified Umbrella as in the Rihanna song. To add even more confusion to the situation my biological mother has in the past claimed that one of her ex-boyfriends was one of the team of doctors who treated Markov. However as she told me this socially rather then professionally and I've not seen any evidence I cannot comment on the validity of that claim which only confuses the situation further.

A further Ricin letter obviously adds to the issues raised by the first Ricin letter but the fact it was addressed to Obama obviously adds extra-pressure to him personally because it's rarely nice to be told someone's trying to kill you. The connection to the 2011 militia plot also seems to be intended to discourage Obama from pressing to hard on the investigation into the Boston bombings by effectively threatening him personally with a violent backlash. The talk of 'suspicious envelopes' being sent to Obama could also be interpreted as a reference to a great many things. However the two that relate to me are some very scandalous plans for a protest the UK police managed to intercept from me ahead of the 2005 G8 Summit and the detailed explanation of how the UK was going to rig the outcome of it's 2010 General Election which I believe I actually sent to the CIA. That last issue increases the pressure on Obama because I believe one of the intercepted letters said something about people not acting to stop something bad becoming responsible for that bad thing.
As for Rihanna's concert themselves there haven't been any. The Monday (15/4/13) concert in Houston was cancelled in the hour prior to the Boston bombings with illness being cited as the reason. However as April 15th is Rihanna's brother's birthday many have accused her of cancelling to the concert in order to go out and party. The act of Rihanna conveniently altering her plans just before a terrorist attack was intended as a reference to now Israeli President Benjamin Netanyahu cancelling a meeting and in doing so avoiding the July 7th 2005 (7/7/05) Al-Qaeda attacks on London. This has prompted a lot of actually quite anti-Semitic conspiracy theories that Israel carried out the 7/7 attacks as a false flag operation. This is of course nonsense because all that happened is that being very interested in Islamic terrorism for their own protection the Israelis had heard a rumour of a possible attack. There is of course a world of difference between hearing enough of a rumour that something is going to happen to make you slightly alter your plans and knowing enough to be able to stop it. After all if Israel had formally warned the UK the UK's first reaction would have been to suspect them of lying because that's how the espionage world works. And yes the US did purposefully collapse the price of gold ahead of the Boston bombings in an effort spark discussion about the conspiracy theory blaming the Jews on Wall Street for the 9/11 attacks.
The manner of the cancellation of Rihanna's Tuesday (16/4/13) concert in Dallas was even more provocative, offensive and downright foolish. Basically neither Rihanna nor the tour promoter Live Nation bothered tell anyone that the concert had been cancelled. Instead Live Nation sent out a series of cryptic Tweets encouraging people to sign up to Facebook check out the latest revised list of Rihanna's concerts. Rihanna encouraging people to use Facebook is in itself controversial but what was even more provocative was that by the time Live Nation sent out these Tweets Rihanna had already left Texas for her home in Los Angeles where she was later photographed leaving a doctors office. I won't even bother comment on the pregnancy rumours that this sparked. In the meantime Chris Brown had also left Texas to head for a personnel appearance/mini-concert in New York.
Apart from being an attempt to get people to search for travel details the spectacle of Rihanna and Brown on opposite sides of the US was intended to get people to react about whether the two should be kept similarly apart for the rest of Rihanna's tour. However it was quite clear by that point that the CIA handlers were not in a listening mood. That's a shame because with their latest Hail Mary efforts to salvage the operation blowing up in their faces at least a few of them have got to be wishing they can turn back the clock to April 5th (5/4/13) and correct their little error in Chris Brown's Court case.
As no-one can turn back time though I'm left seriously wondering how Rihanna's tour can continue. Personally what I would do is fully cancel the Houston, Dallas, Tampa, Fort Lauderdale, Atlanta and the rescheduled Baltimore concerts and claim them on insurance rather then trying to reschedule. The tour can then begin again in Newark. This will prevent Rihanna's already very busy schedule getting even more packed allowing her to recover fully from whatever drug/alcohol related malady she is currently suffering from. Also I think it would be advisable for Rihanna to keep a very low profile at the moment because I don't want to be writing too many posts linking her to the Boston bombings. As for the already re-scheduled Boston concert I would simply cancel that and take the financial hit because Rihanna really doesn't want to be showing her face in Boston anytime soon and she most certainly doesn't want it to be the last concert she performs before embarking on a nearly three week break ahead of the Morocco concert.

That last issue increases the pressure on Obama because I believe one of the intercepted letters said something about people not acting to stop something bad becoming responsible for that bad thing.
As for Rihanna's concert themselves there haven't been any. The Monday (15/4/13) concert in Houston was cancelled in the hour prior to the Boston bombings with illness being cited as the reason. However as April 15th is Rihanna's brother's birthday many have accused her of cancelling to the concert in order to go out and party. The act of Rihanna conveniently altering her plans just before a terrorist attack was intended as a reference to now Israeli President Benjamin Netanyahu cancelling a meeting and in doing so avoiding the July 7th 2005 (7/7/05) Al-Qaeda attacks on London. This has prompted a lot of actually quite anti-Semitic conspiracy theories that Israel carried out the 7/7 attacks as a false flag operation. This is of course nonsense because all that happened is that being very interested in Islamic terrorism for their own protection the Israelis had heard a rumour of a possible attack. There is of course a world of difference between hearing enough of a rumour that something is going to happen to make you slightly alter your plans and knowing enough to be able to stop it. After all if Israel had formally warned the UK the UK's first reaction would have been to suspect them of lying because that's how the espionage world works. And yes the US did purposefully collapse the price of gold ahead of the Boston bombings in an effort spark discussion about the conspiracy theory blaming the Jews on Wall Street for the 9/11 attacks.
The manner of the cancellation of Rihanna's Tuesday (16/4/13) concert in Dallas was even more provocative, offensive and downright foolish. Basically neither Rihanna nor the tour promoter Live Nation bothered tell anyone that the concert had been cancelled. Instead Live Nation sent out a series of cryptic Tweets encouraging people to sign up to Facebook check out the latest revised list of Rihanna's concerts. Rihanna encouraging people to use Facebook is in itself controversial but what was even more provocative was that by the time Live Nation sent out these Tweets Rihanna had already left Texas for her home in Los Angeles where she was later photographed leaving a doctors office. I won't even bother comment on the pregnancy rumours that this sparked. In the meantime Chris Brown had also left Texas to head for a personnel appearance/mini-concert in New York.
Apart from being an attempt to get people to search for travel details the spectacle of Rihanna and Brown on opposite sides of the US was intended to get people to react about whether the two should be kept similarly apart for the rest of Rihanna's tour. However it was quite clear by that point that the CIA handlers were not in a listening mood. That's a shame because with their latest Hail Mary efforts to salvage the operation blowing up in their faces at least a few of them have got to be wishing they can turn back the clock to April 5th (5/4/13) and correct their little error in Chris Brown's Court case.
As no-one can turn back time though I'm left seriously wondering how Rihanna's tour can continue. Personally what I would do is fully cancel the Houston, Dallas, Tampa, Fort Lauderdale, Atlanta and the rescheduled Baltimore concerts and claim them on insurance rather then trying to reschedule. The tour can then begin again in Newark. This will prevent Rihanna's already very busy schedule getting even more packed allowing her to recover fully from whatever drug/alcohol related malady she is currently suffering from. Also I think it would be advisable for Rihanna to keep a very low profile at the moment because I don't want to be writing too many posts linking her to the Boston bombings. As for the already re-scheduled Boston concert I would simply cancel that and take the financial hit because Rihanna really doesn't want to be showing her face in Boston anytime soon and she most certainly doesn't want it to be the last concert she performs before embarking on a nearly three week break ahead of the Morocco concert.

It's Tuesday Night and I'm Back From the Pub.
Keeping up their end of the bargain the UK had put on lots and lots of local scary. However as I'm sure you can tell from the Wisconsin shooting/lock down incident the big, bad CIA are very keen to be claiming responsibility for my safe return.
Anyway I think whomever placed one of the Boston bombs into a 'black bag' before placing it into a trash can deep down really wanted to be caught and punished. Of course none of that might be true because it comes from an unnamed (but official) FBI source. More officially the FBI have announced that one of the bombs was a homemade explosive charge (probably black powder) surrounded by ball bearings, screws, nails assorted other metal shrapnel inside a pressure cooker. If you don't know what a pressure cooker is try Google images. According to a Fox News contributor this a common design for an Improvised Explosive Device (IED) used in Afghanistan although I have my doubts. If true this Afghan link would certainly help to sell the idea of this being an Islamic terrorist attack.
Apart from the metal shell increasing the amount of shrapnel the reason Afghan insurgents use pressure cookers is because the inbuilt mechanical countdown timer provides a perfect timer to detonate the bomb. However if I was building the Boston bomb I would have also attached a modified cellphone to the explosive charge in order to help sell the idea that the infamous man on the roof was the one who detonated the bomb. This is of course nonsense because the main advantage of using a cellphone as a remote control detonator is that you don't even have to be in the same country as the bomb.
In other news the UK is currently preparing for the funeral of Margaret Thatcher tomorrow (17/4/13). Generally I've got stuck on the fact that the funeral directors who transported Thatcher's corpse to the Houses of Parliament and will transport her on to the Royal Air Force (RAF) chapel on the Strand are the same funeral directors who buried my grandmother. To prove just how connected she was these are the same funeral directors who were involved in Princess Diana's funeral. However I don't seem to remember them making quite the same level of fuss with gun carriages and silencing the bells etc at my grandmother's funeral. So basically the UK Crown's still trying to exercise the memory of that particular dragon.
In terms of security unless MI5 get over excited no-one's going to try and blow it up and in terms of protest I can't help but think that frankly that's what Thatcher would have wanted.

The Boston Marathon Bombings
At 19:50 (14:50 local) two bombs exploded at the finish line of the Boston
Marathon in Massachusetts, US. Initial reports that these were small devices
located in trash cans were incorrect. It now seems that they were large but
homemade explosive devices that had been packed with ball bearings in order to
cause maximum casualties. It also appears that one on the devices was placed behind a
plate glass window in order to maximise the amount of shrapnel. So even by the
standards of those who have been through Iraq, Afghanistan and worse this was a
particularly gory attack and there are currently lots of people working very
hard to keep the confirmed death toll at 2.
As I do not have any confirmed information I do not think it is helpful for me to speculate about the death toll or numbers or types of injuries any further at this time although I really want to make wholly inappropriate joke about the para-Olympics suddenly getting a lot more competitive.
I also think it is a very bad idea for me to say much more about what I think has happened on the World Wide Web at this point. However I think it is only slightly expanding on what I've already said to confirm that I am now 100% certain that this was an attack carried out by people within US intelligence circles who are linked to the current Rihanna/Chris Brown operation. The primary objective was to be breathe new life into a plan which is now horrifically stalled.
Bombing the Boston marathon is certainly likely to achieve this objective because it is one of the premier events on the global marathon calendar and therefore attracts athletes from around the globe. As you may remember from the Olympics the people involved in international athletics are certainly no strangers to the world of diplomacy and espionage. As such foreign intelligence agencies will have likely had people on the ground in Boston as the explosions took place. They are obviously very keen on finding out if their people have been killed or injured, exactly what caused the explosions and whether it was a targeted assassination attempt intended to kill specific individuals. The initial video to be released which showed one of the explosions ripping through a parade of national flags lining the route was intended to be a homage to the Olympic movement and an attempt to promote discussion about why specific flags such as the Russian, Polish and the Croatian flags had been placed in the path of the blast.
Also the London marathon takes place this coming Sunday (21/4/13) so there is now going to be a lengthy bilateral discussion between the US and the UK over security for the London event. This will lead people to speculate about whether the US and the UK are really discussing marathon security The hope is that nations who are trying to find out the details of the US/UK bilateral will enter athletes into the London event or use concerns about the safety athletes who are already taking part to open their own dialogue with the UK thus making the UK the centre of attention.
This show of allegiance between US and UK intelligence/security operatives in the home town of the losing Republican presidential candidate Mitt Romney is supposed to look like US intelligence being in a power struggle with the elected President. For example the bombings took place in a mile of the course that had been dedicated to the memory of those killed in the Newtown massacre. Newtown was of course another US intelligence operation but one that Obama was prepared to tolerate as it furthered his political agenda of driving through gun control. As the anniversaries of the 1993 Waco, Texas siege and the 1995 Oklahoma bombings both come up on Friday (20/4/13) the Boston attack is likely to be blamed on right-wing, pro-gun, often racist groups which the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) has recently taken to referring to as "Antigovernment groups" in a reference to the pseudonym of someone I shared an anti-terrorism arrest warrant with in the days following the 9/11 attacks. The rumour of a Saudi man being arrested were intended to make Obama hesitate by making him think that a lot of those conspiratorially minded right-wingers would blame him for the attacks as a way to promote discussion about Saudi links to Jihadists especially in Syria. As those right-wingers are very keen on their guns and Obama's a bit of a coward he has in the past been very worried about offending them in case they assassinate him. Hence the fire at the JFK library.
So like I said this is going to be a very challenging investigation however I think there is enough evidence for Rihanna and her tour party to be held as material witnesses. Of course that means Rihanna's Dallas concert will have to be cancelled and the already cancelled and rescheduled Boston concert is going to have to be seriously reconsidered. After all that "Wanted By the FBI" banner during "Man Down" is going to start looking eerily accurate from now on.

If you've been reading my Twitter (@Sovereignaka) feed you would know that I originally intended to post this at around 23:50 on 15/4/13 however my Internet connection failed preventing me. Since then the casualty list has risen to include 3 dead and more then 170 injured. The good news if you can call it that is that the explosions appear to have been contained at ground level. As a result the majority of the injuries are complex (bone, soft tissue, vascular) lower limb injuries. Provided proper medical assistance is quickly provided these type of injuries are generally survivable so I'm not expecting the death toll to rise much higher but obviously if it is your friend or loved one involved listen to their doctor.
Also if you've been reading my Twitter feed you would know that on Saturday (13/4/13) I sort of got tangled up in preparations for Sunday's (14/4/13) Brighton, UK marathon which is a much more amateurish race. This year's event was marred by a 23 year old man who collapsed and died of a suspected cardiac arrest as the course passed Grand Avenue. As I'd originally planned to stay in Brighton overnight until Sunday in order to party hard this was intended to create speculation that I'd overdone it and died. Then once that been revealed to be untrue it would be used to promote discussion about the woman who died at last year's London marathon after using some sort of banned stimulant.
Finally in the immediate aftermath of the Boston bombings photographs began circulating on the Internet showing a man standing on a roof-top overlooking the site of the first explosion. There was obvious speculation that this man was involved in causing the attack. For reasons I really don't want to go into I think it is extremely unlikely that this man had anything to do with the explosion and was probably just a passer-by using a great vantage point to watch the end of the race. However the circulation of the photographs and the speculation along with the speculation that the picture might have been photoshopped was intended to trigger 1001 conspiracy theories similar to the conspiracy theories surrounding the JFK assassination.
If you are looking for bullsh*t conspiracy theories though I'm tempted to go with; It was the Venezuelans in order to distract from their first post-Chavez election.

Operation Misery: Month 2, Week 2, Day 1.
I know it's pretty poor form to be doing this on the day of a concert. However Rihanna now has two back to back concerts and the US and especially the UK are now working really hard to get any form of reaction to the Chris Brown/Rihanna reunion.
The most significant of these has been the robbery of 55 UK tourists on the island of Saint Lucia on Friday (12/4/13). Basically having arrived on the island on a cruise ship the group were taking a tour of the island's attractions when their tour bus was hijacked by masked gunmen who proceeded to rob the tourists. No-one was injured and all are now back aboard the Eclipse ship operated by the Celebrity Cruise line which is making its way to it's final destination in Florida, US this weekend. As with Barbados and Jamaica St Lucia is part of the UK Commonwealth Realm meaning that it has the UK Queen as head of state. So as with Rihanna's Christmas interloper, the Imani Green shooting and the recent shooting of British tourists in Barbados this a UK attempt to put pressure on the St Lucian government through threatening their important tourist industry while forcing them to liaise with UK authorities over the investigation. The specific incident of masked gunmen hijacking a tour bus was intended to promote discussion about Chris Brown's safety and security should he attempt to continue to join Rihanna on her tour. After all masked gunmen storming the tour bus would be one way to resolve the Chris Brown problem.
There has also been lots of stories about sea-borne wildlife. In California, US authorities are investigating what has caused hundreds of malnourished and sick Sea Lion pups to wash up on a 200 mile stretch of beach between San Diego and Santa Barbara. In the UK wildlife experts are trying to keep alive a pilot whale that has washed up on a beach in Falmouth, Cornwall until it can be re-floated at high tide. Also in Cornwall authorities are again investigating what is causing sea birds to be washed up on shore covered in a strange glue-like substance. That last one is quite an interesting example of how these sort of stories work because these birds have actually been getting washed up since the start of 2013. It's just the story keeps dropping in and out of the news as the UK tries to use it to explain various different things.
I suppose you could compare sea-dwellers like Sea Lions, Whales and Guillemots to Rihanna's fanbase known as "The Navy." Along with the renewal of the relationship with Chris Brown a key element of the honour killing of Rihanna has been to drive a wedge between her and her fans through a not so great album, poor concert performances and forcing her to sanitise her Twitter/Instagram use. Therefore this spate of wildlife stories seems to be the UK and the US working in unison to make it look as though there is some great bilateral discussion about the progress in the death of the 'Navy.' After all if you want to get spies desperately interested in something just tell them it's a secret. However with all the references to death and things being washed up you can't help but feel that if the UK and the US are discussing anything it's how the operation is failing.
That sense of failure has been added to by the fact the only real reaction I've seen to Rihanna and Chris Brown's reunion has come from India who aren't exactly on the tour schedule. They've gone public with the story of an 18 month year old girl, Roona Begum who suffers from Hydrocephalus a condition that causes cerebrospinal fluid to build up on the brain. Although it only cost around USD1500 for surgery to drain this fluid away being poor the Begum family can't afford this. As a result Roona Begum has developed a massive, giant head of around 90cm in circumference. My adult male head is only around 50cm. In the UK if someone's ego far exceeds their actual importance they are said to have a big head. Therefore India's reaction to the Chris Brown/Rihanna reunion is to tell Rihanna she seems to have a slightly too high opinion of herself. Fortunately a private hospital in India is now offering - free of charge - to perform the surgery to reduce the size of the girl's massive, giant head.
Also while I think it's just a private company acting independently of all the government to government politics the French fashion house Chanel has come out and said it has no plans to work with Rihanna either now or in the future. This has got to be a bit of a kick in the teeth for Rihanna because the statement from Chanel has really been forced by Rihanna's constant hinting that she would like to work with them.

Responses to the Rihanna/Chris Brown reunion have started to come in from at least one nation on Rihanna's tour schedule. Today Austria published a long awaited report into the Natascha Kampusch case. For those who don't know Kampusch is Austrian girl who was kidnapped aged 10 in 1998 and held a sex slave in a basement dungeon for 8 years. The 9 month inquiry which was carried out by Austrian, German and US (FBI) investigators concluded that Kampusch's abductor Wolfgang Priklopil acted alone debunking conspiracy theories that he had an accomplice. The timing of the announcement therefore appears to be the Austrians and the Germans turning to the US and telling them they're own their own on this Rihanna/Chris Brown operation.
Also Interpol have issued a Red Notice for Redoine Faid an infamous French gangster/armed robber who escaped from a French prison on Saturday (13/4/13). Obviously I suggested an Interpol Red Notice as a way for the US to disavow Chris Brown during his Contra Mundum tour. However Faid was escaping prison as I was escaping to Brighton so the meaning of this is not clear. It could though be France suggesting that as Contra Mundum was the final warning it might be time for European nations to step up and either issue Persona Non Grata notices to Brown's people or simply refuse him at point of entry. After all if the US are that keen on him they can keep him to themselves.
Also the US has been pushing the Audrie Pott case with the family now announcing that they will be launching a wrongful death suit. This is an attempt to promote discussion about Rihanna's record company are yet to sue Chris Brown. The reason for that is quite simple. That case would have to be heard in the same dodgy LA Court that is keeping Chris Brown out of prison.
Finally pretty much as I've been writing this two trash can bombs have exploded at the finish line of the Boston marathon. The situation is currently one of chaos however judging by the crowd of runners and spectators and the blood we are looking at fatalities and major injuries. My first instinct that this is the CIA attempting to promote discussion about their role in Boston based Mitt Romney's failure to be elected President in 2012 while Rihanna is playing concerts in the Republican heartland of Texas. In California, US authorities are investigating what has caused hundreds of malnourished and sick Sea Lion pups to wash up on a 200 mile stretch of beach between San Diego and Santa Barbara. In the UK wildlife experts are trying to keep alive a pilot whale that has washed up on a beach in Falmouth, Cornwall until it can be re-floated at high tide. Also in Cornwall authorities are again investigating what is causing sea birds to be washed up on shore covered in a strange glue-like substance. That last one is quite an interesting example of how these sort of stories work because these birds have actually been getting washed up since the start of 2013. It's just the story keeps dropping in and out of the news as the UK tries to use it to explain various different things.
I suppose you could compare sea-dwellers like Sea Lions, Whales and Guillemots to Rihanna's fanbase known as "The Navy." Along with the renewal of the relationship with Chris Brown a key element of the honour killing of Rihanna has been to drive a wedge between her and her fans through a not so great album, poor concert performances and forcing her to sanitise her Twitter/Instagram use. Therefore this spate of wildlife stories seems to be the UK and the US working in unison to make it look as though there is some great bilateral discussion about the progress in the death of the 'Navy.' After all if you want to get spies desperately interested in something just tell them it's a secret. However with all the references to death and things being washed up you can't help but feel that if the UK and the US are discussing anything it's how the operation is failing.
That sense of failure has been added to by the fact the only real reaction I've seen to Rihanna and Chris Brown's reunion has come from India who aren't exactly on the tour schedule. They've gone public with the story of an 18 month year old girl, Roona Begum who suffers from Hydrocephalus a condition that causes cerebrospinal fluid to build up on the brain. Although it only cost around USD1500 for surgery to drain this fluid away being poor the Begum family can't afford this. As a result Roona Begum has developed a massive, giant head of around 90cm in circumference. My adult male head is only around 50cm. In the UK if someone's ego far exceeds their actual importance they are said to have a big head. Therefore India's reaction to the Chris Brown/Rihanna reunion is to tell Rihanna she seems to have a slightly too high opinion of herself. Fortunately a private hospital in India is now offering - free of charge - to perform the surgery to reduce the size of the girl's massive, giant head.
Also while I think it's just a private company acting independently of all the government to government politics the French fashion house Chanel has come out and said it has no plans to work with Rihanna either now or in the future. This has got to be a bit of a kick in the teeth for Rihanna because the statement from Chanel has really been forced by Rihanna's constant hinting that she would like to work with them.

Responses to the Rihanna/Chris Brown reunion have started to come in from at least one nation on Rihanna's tour schedule. Today Austria published a long awaited report into the Natascha Kampusch case. For those who don't know Kampusch is Austrian girl who was kidnapped aged 10 in 1998 and held a sex slave in a basement dungeon for 8 years. The 9 month inquiry which was carried out by Austrian, German and US (FBI) investigators concluded that Kampusch's abductor Wolfgang Priklopil acted alone debunking conspiracy theories that he had an accomplice. The timing of the announcement therefore appears to be the Austrians and the Germans turning to the US and telling them they're own their own on this Rihanna/Chris Brown operation.
Also Interpol have issued a Red Notice for Redoine Faid an infamous French gangster/armed robber who escaped from a French prison on Saturday (13/4/13). Obviously I suggested an Interpol Red Notice as a way for the US to disavow Chris Brown during his Contra Mundum tour. However Faid was escaping prison as I was escaping to Brighton so the meaning of this is not clear. It could though be France suggesting that as Contra Mundum was the final warning it might be time for European nations to step up and either issue Persona Non Grata notices to Brown's people or simply refuse him at point of entry. After all if the US are that keen on him they can keep him to themselves.
Also the US has been pushing the Audrie Pott case with the family now announcing that they will be launching a wrongful death suit. This is an attempt to promote discussion about Rihanna's record company are yet to sue Chris Brown. The reason for that is quite simple. That case would have to be heard in the same dodgy LA Court that is keeping Chris Brown out of prison.
Finally pretty much as I've been writing this two trash can bombs have exploded at the finish line of the Boston marathon. The situation is currently one of chaos however judging by the crowd of runners and spectators and the blood we are looking at fatalities and major injuries. My first instinct that this is the CIA attempting to promote discussion about their role in Boston based Mitt Romney's failure to be elected President in 2012 while Rihanna is playing concerts in the Republican heartland of Texas. There will be obvious speculation about Islamic terrorism and Boston's history of supporting the Irish Republican Army (IRA). However eventually it will be blamed on "Anti-government groups" which the Obama administration is using as a by-word to smear the Tea Party and other sort of pro-gun rights groups.
Of course it will also absolutely kill the mood ahead of Rihanna's concert so again it might be worth thinking about cancelling as a mark of respect.
